A simple but quite elegant touch for fall decoration. I wouldn't change a thing. Your clay acorns turn out beautifully! Thank you for sharing!

Hellllllooooo all the way on the other side of the country! ❤ I considered cutting them with my cricut! I did a different-shaped leaf that way, but I thought I would be able to get more out of a bag if I did it by hand. 😁 I also wanted it to be something people could see themselves doing without equipment and with children, if they wanted to. It is definitely a craft do start while you're doing something else, like watching TV! Have a wonderful day! ❤

Really, really beautiful and what a creative idea! The leaves have life. (I'm in my leaf phase.) Thanks for sharing the recipe for the acorn body. I can see doing this for all seasons. Bravo!!!!

Thank you for the kind comment! 🥰 Your "leaf phase," lol! I love it! I love "fauxliage." Maybe you'd like my faux pussywillow video -- it was one of the first ones I did. I've had pretty good luck with that air-dry clay recipe. I don't think it really matters how much water you put in because it's going to boil off when you heat it, so I'd recommend a little more than you think. You don't want it too dry. Thank you again for the kind comment! ❤🍁❤
