The first 35 seconds are weirdly my favourite scene in family guy ever, everyone just looks so happy and friendly, Lois looks so cute tucking her hair in her bonnet, Megs dress looks so nice on her and Chris looks so jovial, and stewie is actually cute with the way he toddles down the hill. They’re like an actual happy and healthy family here

One of the things I like about this is, Meg is essentially the main character of this concept in which _Family Guy_ reenacts _Little House on the Prairie_ since Meg takes the place of Laura Ingalls Wilder, who was not only the main character of the _Little House on the Prairie_ series, but also a real person who wrote the books based on her childhood and growing up Whether the writers intended it or not, score a win for Meg Griffin!

The people that work on Family Guy are too lazy to do something like that ever again. Watch the opening scene to their Return of the Jedi special, you'll see what I mean. It's like they were too bothered to go all the way through with their parodies on the original Star Wars trilogy and stop halfway. Luckily the network busted their ass on that and they made the last one. But there is no way they would do something like this ever again, even though I would like them to parody the prequel trilogy. Or better yet make fun of Disney's awful sequel trilogy, that would be fantastic if they would shit on that pile of garbage that ruined Star Wars for many people. Well that, and how Disney made the old expanded universe non-canon. That still pisses me off that they did that, whoever came up with that idea is a retarded douchebag.
