I'm a big fan of comedy, especially things like satire and stand up. To me it's one of the purest forms of art because anything can have a joke made about it. Comedy has the power to help us cope and help us heal and help us see how we as a society can improve upon ourselves and each other. It lets us talk about difficult topics and not fight but engage with each other, learn, understand and grow. Katt Williams on one of his albums talks about the hard work and effort he puts into his writing and you hear Daniel Tosh do a bit about how anything can be funny and it's so true. There is a purity to the art form of Comedy and we are all better for it and those that can do it well.

The thing with your example is that it boils down to the difference between reality, and fiction. Just because something is funny in fiction, doesn't mean it's funny in reality; whereas the fact that fiction isn't real allows it to turn tragedy into humor. The problem is that there's too many people who will complain about comedy in fiction as if it's reality, because they somehow can't tell the difference.

the fact of you actually laughing at this demonstrates how intelligent and utterly mature you are, those racist cartoons from Family Guy are actually a protest and a criticism of the status-quo. My respects. Cheers from Mexico

You guys are awesome for doing this. If we lose the ability to laugh with one another, this world has been diminished. Thanks again.

Family Guy is great about making fun of stereotypes and leading you down a path only to pull a 90 degree turn at the last moment

For the record: Frank Sinatra actually refused to perform or go in a place, where his blank friends couldn’t go in the same place.. He was a solid guy.. & From my fine state of NJ.

Exactly. Now we have crybabies running to their safe spaces and trying to cancel comedy because it hurts their wittle little feewings.

LOL. Yeah right! Its the dumpoRATS that ruin everything! The dumpoRATS also LOVE the thugs! They let the thugs do whatever they want. They hate the police because they coddle the thugs. Thank God I live in a republican state! We love the police here ! And we throw the thugs in jail where they belong!

What I found funniest is how your reactions are universal: the guy laughing his ass off, while the gal smiles a bit and chuckles occasionally. (Universal for _Family Guy_ humor, I mean.)

True story: In high school I transferred from a nearly all white school, to one that was super diverse, and the soda machine selection upgrade was amazing. They had every flavor at the new school.
