Why does it have to cost so much to get through the islands and to accomplish the islands. It should not cost 135 energy to get one item or the blue boxes cost 83 the first hit, 50 something and then about 23 for the last that is horrible. I love the game but it is a little costly

Yea, if you can’t even get top 10 in their contests or get partway through any task all because you haven’t bought resources from them, then that’s far from an OK way to run a game that fakes as if it can be played for free. I play it as a distraction, but I will not listen to a thing these people say so long as they require money to play a game that isn’t supposed to cost me money. Faking as if it’s free and then posting to make sure no one is able to actually play the game without paying them is total bullshit. To create something that could be so beloved and then to gouge people to play it all while acting as if you can play without paying… It’s hard to have a high opinion of ppl like that. I just deleted like 2 paragraphs I didn’t really even mean to write about how shitty it is to grasp for something during an extremely stressful time and have it fake being free until it’s sucked you in enough to require money to do anything. Super shitty, gotta say.

Its sad that the game costs so much that people actually use these "top up" services at a fraction of what the game charges. When you have to make posts and videos telling people not to cheat maybe you should rethink your costs

Family Island you only brought this on yourself by charging ridiculous amounts for your packages as well as making the game too hard to play without having to buy packages. That's just straight up low level business economics, so troubling that Melsoft doesn't have the correct staff to be able to identify this. I've uninstalled the game, no interest in playing until it gets rectified.

I'm sure it's more than just people on those scam sites. I have seen games where they have employees with access to free energy and resources compete so it's hard for us to get to the top, pressuring many to spend money...and still not win/finish. I like this game a lot but the way it's being ran is also a type of scam. It's no reason I need to make 3 sets of 30 items with multiple resources that cost 120 each and then only give 600 energy back. A ton of people aren't finishing your adventures and complaining about it.

I am playing and a group of players, including me, are hovering around 6000 points. Suddenly, out of nowhere, player "ANGEL" shows up at the top of the list with 62260 points. Unfortuntaley, every race I participated ended up like this. The first 1-3 ranks are always cheaters with ridiculous points. While the races are cool and the islands that go with it are often huge, honest players don't have a chance to actually explore the islands. The demands on energy to pass tasks are so ridiculously high that I usually never even see the third adventure island...

I often finish in top 3 and usually am that sneaky one coming in first. I've never made an in app purchase, nor have I ever cheated, but I remember getting annoyed with players coming in and beating me last second, until I started recognizing the potential for tools and using them to my advantage. Winning the game is more about self control than anything, and that is very difficult for most of us. When someone beats me, I easily see why (including Angel) and it's usually because they were a little more disciplined on that island or I probably had something that got in the way of me hopping on the game when my energy filled back up. I'll give you a few tips. When you come across boxes, don't touch them innitially. Save them until the power up begins. Also, take a look at the power up generator when you arrive on an island to see what items will give a leg up. Check up on event board to see what items will give you more points and how many items are needed. Small goals win the race. Filling the event board tasks can help get the items needed to beat the game, but not necessarily win on the leaderboard. Prize points can give a leg up, though. And lastly, spend the time to save gold tools and salt for a while. When you have a storage, items are easier to refill. Best of luck!

A bunch of players got scammed on EverMerge... These scams all have one thing in common. They target players who want something for practically nothing. How long have folks been playing these games? They are ALL ABOUT making money. That is the reason they exist. They allow F2P (Free 2 Play) and P2P (Pay 2 Play). F2P is going to be more of a challenge than P2P. Many F2P players tend to think that they are entitled to "MORE" because they play the game every day. And that is just silly. Of course, many game Devs also focus too much on the Whales... A Good Game reaches a balance. Just remember to USE COMMON SENSE! If it sounds too good to be true? If you immediately want to buy it? It's probably a scam. Of course 😉 if the games "really" wanted to protect their players at all costs? They would disable the embedded technologies (musical scores, repetitive sounds, hidden "Blue Light" strobing, etc.) so that players were not kept on the edge of their seats just *_WAITING_* to get there and have their "Buy It" fingers at the ready to drop Ca$h on a purchase. 🤣 But we all know that is not going to happen 😇

You guys shouldn’t charge so freaking MUCH!!!! What is absurd how much energy you have to use when you get towards the end of the levels. It’s completely impossible to complete the levels without spending money which is wrong. It would be one thing if you were asking people to spend a dollar or two but you want people to spend upwards of $20 just to be able to complete one level.

There was definitely someone cheating in the last island match. I was in 1st place continuing the mission and I check my points and someone magically has 10,000!!! more point than me and ends up winning in 1st place. He wasn't even on the top 10 before that. I'm pissed!

There are pages on fb where they promise free rubies or energy, I reported them many times but fb says there is nothing wrong with that. I also share the videos from KZbin I received to get tons of free rubies to moderators in MP, they didn’t even open the message… there are cheaters on each events, suddenly someone has more than 30000 pts while the event started 5 minutes ago…

If you care so much about cheating, etc. You should lower the cost for energy to do the tasks. You are making money hand over fist. Once I start seeing the TV commercials, I will know someone is rich and it ain't me. This happened with candy crush. So I am a player that gets up there in the 60,000 points. There is no cheating there. I get the champion boost. Just because people are up there with a lot of points it does not mean they are cheating but I will admit that the game gets expensive and I think that the cap on feeding the family should be removed or higher. Once it reaches 200 energy, I can't feed the family to get more and there are a lot of items in the game that are sometimes more than 200 energy and then pretty much forced to buy energy but I stopped because I can't afford to spend that much on a game. The game is only worth $30 and we are spending at least $30 or less a month! Why so much money? You have a million followers and if we each spend that much, that is millions! Can you please change the cost of energy to play? There would not be cheats if it is not expensive. I would not mind to spend $2.99 here and there but anything above that is ridiculous. I'm sure we would all like to play the game fairly but you will start losing players if this keeps up and then there will be no money. Please bring the cost of energy down or I will have no choice but to uninstall the game.

OMG your comment about feeding the family is soooooo right on! It becomes absolutely a non-element once you have progressed at all. I think it should be endless energy reward. The time it takes to grow the elements should be work enough. Once you progress, the table is useless since the only way to use it is to deplete all your energy.
