tnx for the come back. If you get a chance watch some videos of west coast timber fallers. Then ask yourself what are they wearing that you're not? Like hard hats caulk boots gloves loggers pants with the cuffs cut off and always use wedges. and top running saws. Something to really think about

West coast and east coast is a little different. All your West coast guys wear the stuff. Your east coast logger guys might wear a helmet. Chaps if he's a fancy dude. Most are just trying to scrape a living. Specially in TN. The equipments old and forced ro slave on cause no one has money for new stuff. If I had to pay people to help me log I'd make no money. Luckily I get it done all by myself.

Just found your video this morning. Subscribing. I’ve been a one man band cutting trees and skidding for the last ten days in PA with the same hot humid temperatures you’ve had. It’s been brutal. Had a sugar maple barber chair on me a few days ago but I was ready for it. Still scary when you’re working by yourself. The log yard is full and I’ve taken the weekend off. Got a small amount of rain yesterday and it cooled it from the mid nineties down to the low eighties. Got those hit it hard to get this job done next week. Be safe. Get logs! Whipple

Y'all need to choke the logs closer to the ends that way they won't be digging into the ground or up under the skidder i learned that the hard way breaking cables and choker chains and it keeps the logs cleaner i got handed the axe and told get the dirt off there so i want dull the chain bucking them to length but take plenty of water breaks and don't over do it in these hot days stay blessed when will y'all be doing the next live haven't been able to catch any in awhile well last was on the other channel

I eat my lunch in the work truck, no heat or AC, everyone else is in the work trailer. I can't recall the last time I had a cold, of any sort. The other guys here, are constantly getting sick.
