Family Man - Maggie's Demise Ending

Family Man - a story centered game with an emphasis on moral choices.
Cleaning the garden, working as a surgeon or a hitman, making burgers and collecting treasures - that's not even close to a full list of things to do, all the while keeping a close eye on your family's needs.
This is Maggie's Demise ending. It's the first one I got, back on the livestream, and I think it is my personal favourite. Although other ones were also pretty neat. Karma's at max, half of the main quests were finished on the 'good' side, half on the 'bad'.

This is the first ending I got, and honestly, it's the one that stuck with me through them all. Maggie constantly stopping you in the streets, this like. Painfully grieving woman, and being unable to actually help her due to your guilt, due to being a part of the reason he's gone. She didn't deserve anything that happened to her. Lost her lover, stricken with grief for 20 days, having to see and be lied to by her husbands best friend for 20 days. Only to be ruthlessly put down on the final day. Somehow I feel even more responsible for her death than her husbands. It's just an unfair, tragic, brutal ending. I thought I did my best, having only gotten the bad ending for the Pride story. But somehow this ending feels right. You're not a hero or anything, you may have tried to bend the rules to your favor to spite Bruce and his ilk. To not resort to such reprehensible acts in your desperation. But ultimately because of your part in this, you're the one of the reasons why an innocent woman lays still in that coffin. Such a brutal, candid ending. Most games don't have the balls to make an ending like this, and I appreciate that this game was willing to do it if you're anything but sheer perfection.

I did one playthrough and got the End of The Road. I don't know how you could win without being evil

From what I've played, you can still be plenty evil (killing random wildlife for meat, doing hitman jobs, etc), as long as you donate some food (it lifts up your karma) and make "good" decisions in main quests. You can look up guides for specifics
