how about fried rice- you cook the rice ahead of time and chill, then fry whatever veggies u like in olive oil- like garlic, onions, snap peas, peppers, ginger, green beans, broccoli- just some ideas, some people add scrambled egg to it, browned cashews....The secret is to not add any sauce until it is in the person's bowl- then add some soy sauce, drizzle some sesame oil, some hot sauce for those who like that............

@marykoufalis7666 , I actually started doing it when l was working. I'd fix 2 kinds for 2 weekends and stock the freezer. Sure was nice after 12 hour shifts to just pull out a bag and have dinner in a matter of minutes. Nursing can drain you and if you're not careful you'll end up with a can of soup or even a PBJ. 😉

A completely random comment, I know ... but it only occurred to me for the first time that the escalators/travelators - or travelling ramps - I'm not exactly sure what you call them there - are on opposite sides than in Australia ha ha! I.e. our up ramps/escalators are on the left, and down are on the right when you're heading up a level. It makes sense, as I know you guys drive on the right hand side of the road, and we drive on the left ... but it confused me for a few seconds until I thought about it. It's the little things!

yes! A simple recipe is a jar of grape jelly & a jar of chili sauce. Mix together & simmer with meatballs! I eat that with either a side of rice or noodles & whatever veggie I have on hand!! Easy!!!

This is one of the hardest comments I've felt the need to leave. Mark I understand you needed help but please don't ever tell a child to put her book away to be more of a help to you when the other kids were playing and your wife was focussed more on filming everything right. You both chose to have so many kids and it's okay to expect them to help with their siblings or family tasks but not all the time. There are other solutions like leaving Mo and Neta at home with the older kids, have one of the older kids help you shop each week (I realise they have things on but once a month they could help especially as we saw tonight they could of come to help instead of buying dessert), have Amber put the camera on her to free up her hands and do the commentary as a voice over etc etc. You often show annoyance with the kids but especially Amber. Everytime she picks something out or the few occasions you divide and conquer the whole time she says things like 'I can't pick out fruit and vegetables as good as Mark', 'I can't pack the cart like Mark does' and other self deprecating things. You never tell her that she does these tasks well and it's evident that you have helped to make her feel that way with your words but especially your non verbal communication. You are taking away her belief in herself and I know that you don't do it intentionally but it's been evident from the start of your channel. I've tried to approach this by building up your wife's self esteem when she makes these comments but when it cames to putting adult tasks onto only one of the kids I can't just ignore it. No one is perfect and we all make mistakes but when you essentially open up your family, including children who are relying on you to protect them in all aspects of life, to social media people will say things you don't want to hear. It can be nasty or is from the point of view of caring for your kids. I hope you can think on this and see where I'm coming from but that is your decision to make. I do also believe you are great parents, love each other and the kids dearly and I see ykur solid foundation. 😊
