The only people complaining about these kids taking a journey on new york city streets early morning are either not from new york city or they are jealous and in awe that tgese kids have the common sense and know how and ability to work together to handle this situation... I grew up in NYC and i was taking buses and subways on my own at age 8 ! The neighborhood/locals get to know the kids living in each neighborhood maybe not by name but by sight and let me tell you they take great pride in watching over everybodies children even at 5 am in the morning ! Switching trains in new jersey was the only scary part but since they all cooperate and stay together they we're safe enough.. I live in upstate new york and up here you dont just have to watch out for scary people the bears and coyotes and mountain lions are very dangerous and the rabid ra oons too ! Honestly the most dangerous residents in NYC are the loose dogs 🐕! Good job momma and poppa bear 🐻! Great job kids who are more mature than most kids their ages !

Suggestion: Swimming is a life saving skill. Maybe a family membership at the Y for a family Christmas gift and swim lessons there? Glad you enjoyed your trip. Thanks for sharing. God bless!
@TheHappyCaravan3 ай бұрын
Yes! I had the kids take a swimming class at the Y before but it didn’t really stick. I’ve been careful about the water (at least for Elijah) because Elijah has had a hole in his eardrum that wouldn’t close even with surgery and water was problematic.
@mustlovedogs55693 ай бұрын
But he can fly fine with a hole in eardrum?? Flying is far more dangerous for eardrums. Swimming is a vital life skill. Lessons need to happen. The kids can’t become adults who can’t swim, because when they have kids or are anywhere near water it is a danger!
