I feel like its a combination that she's had many kids, she (and her husband) knows what to do. Also just how they run their home in general it seems. I have a friend who has 4 kids and I was in college when her youngest as born and nothing changed. She was held, loved but mom was still mom. She didn't like to say "I have a new baby" as a way to not do things. She was always on the go b/c her other kids needed her too. I grew up with a family of 11 kids. I dont think anything should change in a home because of a newborn. I know every family is different and every woman is different, different circumstances. My mom had kids so close together in age and got so sick but was grateful b/c nothing changed in our home. All kids had the same needs, same stage of life. It meant triple the work at the same time. However my mom would always say that certain women are just meant to have many kids. They can handle it but also work at keeping their home, a home for everyone.

I love to see that baby Neta is being held, wrapped and rocked all the time. You will always have people saying "don't get the baby used to being held all the time, they'll never settle by themselves" - but it's so natural to keep them close during those early months - and in large families like ours, there is never a problem finding a spare pair of willing arms. 💕

I raised a few kids on a shoestring budget. I eat differently now but i do recall preparing 'angel hair' pasta with thinly sliced yet spicy goat meat sausages with broccoli bits on top, quite often. Quick, delicious, filling and nutritious. Coleslaw was often prepared for veal sausage in sliced up buns. Watching this video brought back memories.

When my son was born in 2003, he was slightly jaundice. When we left the hospital, they sent us home with a blue light to use for a few days. A home health nurse even came and checked on us. I bet insurance wouldn't allow for that today. I love how the kids are with Neta. She is one lucky baby. Like always such yummy food.

You saying about the scale for at home for Netta reminded me of this, it was in a book I read set in Ireland where they’d have fish scales to weigh babies at home after birth 😂 the author did a ton of research on how things were done in Ireland then, and as someone from a more rural area I can believe it. Marc saying that all the stuff you have to do for/with the baby doesn’t sound like much of a break was so sweet for him to easily acknowledge what you have gone through and are going through with the baby. Unfortunately my grandmothers got divorces from men who never did that despite also large families of 6 and 9 respectively. It will always be so nice to me to hear partners recognizing and appreciating the effort of the other.

Do bread it feed 13 and some did a small salad. Who knew to make chili Mac . It's so cold

I love the little outfits you dress Neta in ... they are so cute ❤The peppermint brownies look delicious ... I'm not surprised they went fast at the party! I used to play the piano a long time ago ... I loved it until I had to change teachers, and the new teacher made it go from a 10 to 0 by the 2nd lesson with her. I stopped playing after that. My favorite was playing Music Box Dancer, by Frank Mills. You (and Marc!) are doing a great job with the videos ... thank you! 🙏❤

They use to say to put them in window and get sunlight. Id put a little Basket basinette thing on a table in window. It was winter, and let nap some. The sun was warm. This was a beautiful video of everyone, I have a little sweet spot for Mo he is such a cutie and reminds me of my grandson at that age , Pearl will be an amazing mama one day, the way she loves with all of her siblings is just beautiful and I have to say that with all your kids they are loving, kind have beautiful souls and never a bad word said by that I mean arguments rather than cursing and that is down to how they are raised and nurtured, my favourite part of the whole video was Naomi playing the piano sitting with her legs in a basket ( it’s a Scottish saying) and in that basket was a tiny precious little bundle of joy who was smiling to the sound of the piano. Sending love to you all from Glasgow Scotland & wishing you a very Merry Christmas from our home to yours 🩷

When I had my first baby, many years ago, I struggled to breast feed. I tried for about 6 weeks. It just didn’t come naturally to me. It hurt, and I cried. Eventually I switched to formula because he wasn’t thriving, or gaining any weight. I felt like the world’s worst mother. He’s 40 now and turned out fine.Grew up healthy, strong and beautiful

Ya know I think Baby Netta isn't gaining weight BECAUSE She's NOT Awake enough. Your Sweet Family is ALWAYS Holding Baby and making her feel Loved, Safe, Warm, Secure. Who the Heck would want to wake up from that perfect environment Just to Eat ? It's a wonderful thought anyway. I'd be content if I was Baby Netta surrounded by such Love, Commotion and Busy Family noise . I don't think if I were her that I would want to wake up just to eat.
