Alicia, would it be helpful to have laundry bags? Everyone has their name on one. Sort clothes at home before washing. Dry 14 loads plus towels and put each load back In appropriate laundry bag at laundromat. Then it’s all sorted with lots of helpers and stays sorted throughout. Just an idea.

Why throw clean clothes on the floor where people have stepped on? It defates the purpose of washing clothes because the floor is dirty and your just making them dirty again. I was wondering the same thing. Both my kids had their own basket for their dirty laundry so when they needed to wash they took their clothes washed, folded and put them away. They were as young as 5 years old when I taught them how to do this. They even had certain other chores around the house. My son, now 29 is teaching his autistic 6 year old son how to do things for himself and he likes to help.

‘Alisha the inefficient mom’. 1) spend your time training your kids to help the household and help themselves (parenting). 2) buy the right equipment to get the quantity of work done effectively (family math 101). 3) redo your garage into a large family laundry room (hire an electrician in the process). 4) make efficient non-custom meals and only what will be eaten (stop the waste of time and materials, therefore reduce storage and trash). 5) stopping here for my own sanity.

For all the people saying she should be buying washers and dryers and do laundry at home, buying the appliances isn't the issue, the issue is they're not currently hooked up to their City's Septic System. They're still waiting for that. So you can tell her what she SHOULD be doing (in your opinion) but the point is they need to be hooked up to their Septic System for that to happen. Also I'm pretty sure they're well aware of how much easier that would be and do not need it pointing out.

@@marciatollefson9341 they say it every laundry video idk if they've said it yet in this one specifically but in every other video people get on her about doing it at home and someone just said "all the money she spends on food could be used to get a washing machine"

If she puts her daily life on the internet, of course people are going to comment/criticize. You act like you personally know these people the way you jump to their defense. Girl bye. They don't even know you exist 😂

@@stephaniebaker4024If you dropped a larger septic tank, you know that all of that work requires extensive permits. Not to mention, they need to be located in a zone that will approve a larger system. It's not as easy as just up and replacing a septic system whenever you want to.

Honest question. Why fold clothes when they just get lumped up anyway? I’m 54 and never fold the casual tees etc. and don’t think I’m worse off. Save yourself! 😅💃😩

It’s amazing how much organization it takes to keep a family of 14 running smoothly! Your brain must be doing 100 miles per hour! And it’s quite the physical workout too!

A great family that exploits children and the backgrounds they have come from. To make money . And to spend thousands of dollars which is absolutely ridiculous. Children in kinship are not to be on social media not have their history told to the damn world..

All the money she spends on food, could go towards a washing machine. Omg shes had them in a dryer and not folded, would never go out with anything creased or put away.

How would buying a washing machine help when they're not hooked up to the sewer system? Yes she would have a washing machine but she wouldn't be able to use if effectively. Also they're a family of 14 they'd likely need more than just one washing machine and they would need dryers too.

Wouldn’t it be soooo much easier to designate 1 basket per person and only their clothes go in that specific basket . Then all their clothes are washed separately and easier to fold since they will already be sorted. I just think with that much laundry it would be simpler and alot faster of a process? Just a suggestion to make life easier ❤

I don’t know how you do it because I hate going to a laundry mat but have to right now til I can get a plumber to unclog the washer drain trap. I do laundry for me and my husband plus my daughter’s, her husband’s and my two granddaughters since their machines broke down.

I enjoy your videos. I know it would be longer for you at the laundry mat but have you considered folding the clothes there? As I fold and sort I then put them in the baskets as I take them out. It always helped me when I had to go to the laundry mat. Then when I got home I was through and could rest. Nice family

I might have missed it but why not wash at home? Even if you don’t have the hookups with all the extra money spent in random things I would invest in that. Unless it’s just easier for you to take it all to a laundry mat. I think a washer ans dryer at home would make this easier. You could have a schedule and wash two people’s dirty clothes each day then have the older kids fold and put away their own laundry.
