Family of 14 Prepares for Mom & Dad to Take Son to Get His Third Body Cast

We kicked off the weekend with a quick grocery haul, gathering easy meal supplies to help Pa and Grandma as they care for the other 10 boys while Dad, Mom, Noah, and Evie head to Little Rock for Noah’s third Risser casting appointment.
From a fuel stop to last-minute Walmart runs, we made it to church, grilled up some burgers, and finally settled into the hotel, ready for the early Monday morning 5:30 a.m. appointment.
Noah was such a trooper, and we are so grateful to God for the strength He gives Noah. This is his third Risser Cast, and just the beginning of our sweet boy’s journey with UPD 14 (Temple Syndrome). To God be the glory every step of the way!

As I watched you holding Noah I thought of how lucky he is to have you both love and care for him. I also thought of his birth mom. I’m sure before she passed she prayed for a stepmother to love her kids just the way you are doing. What a blessing you are to this boy! Praying for him!

I also have scoliosis! I’m 31, my mom noticed my curvature when I was 12, by then it was too late to brace or do anything like that since my growth plates were closed. I have a pretty severe curve, Praise God I was able to carry and birth 3 children so far! Staying active in my younger years really helped with pain and mobility…as I got older and quit sports and being as active I definitely got more stiff and sore! I’m currently on a journey to get stronger and become more active again! So glad it went well, he’s such a handsome sweet boy! Bless him…❤️

I’m so glad Noah’s scoliosis is being addressed at such a young age. I pray it is successful and gives him a pain free life. I’m so glad there is such great treatment available. My husband was diagnosed at 58 and we’ve now been married 45 years and I wish he would have had treatment as pain has been constant all his life.

Noah is such a trooper ❤. We also buy Jiff peanut butter and we go through the regular size jars really fast, my son refuses to get the bigger jars because he hates getting peanut butter on his knuckles, we will have to try the bigger container .

You guys are amazing. I lost my husband in July and we were both widowers when we got married. Both of our spouses died of cancer and COPD and then my husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer last year. He died in July. You guys are really great parents. Aww you guys are such a lovely family, however the glass cleaner that's actually super cheap and works absolutely amazing is the large foaming one in the can , I'm absolutely obsessed with it because you can actually see where you've wiped down and how clean it actually gets your mirrors and everything, it's a great product for the price, I used it alot when I was married and had my two step kids, it kept everything super sparkly clean
