Just a piece of Dutch culture 😄 We skip Christmas Eve 🤭 We don't do anything if only to church at 00.00 o'clock. On December 25, Christmas Day, families come together and eat and drink. On December 26, Boxing Day, families also come together. For example, Christmas Day the husband's family and Boxing Day the wife's family, but that's an example. We have 'first Christmas Day' and 'second Christmas Day' and some families also have a 3rd Christmas Day. In the Netherlands we celebrate 'Sinterklaas' on December 5. Then everyone gets presents from 'Sinterklaas'. So we don't have a tradition of gifts under the tree. But… 😄 due to the influence of Germany and the Scandinavian countries, the Netherlands also increasingly celebrate Christmas Eve, even with presents under the tree. for the children that means they get presents from Sinterklaas and Santa Claus ⭐️ Loved this vlog ❤️ Rosie was the star with her beautiful smile and shining eyes 🤩 Big smile here while watching 😄

I hope you all had a great Christmas! I had my lady with my mom and feel thankful we did not lose her till today! She fought to not die on Christmas I feel! I sm thankful she got to go be with my dad now! She would never want to live the way she was after this lady bad stroke. We are sad and she will be missed but we have many happy memories of her!

@@TheConnleyClan thank you yes we know she is happier now. My oldest said out loud Grandpa come show grandma the way snd get her! The nurse told him she is already with hm! My 2 oldest were there! So glad she had them there and she was not alone! We had all told her it was fine to go we sold all be ok! Go be with dad! She will me missed but we know it was for her good! She never wanted to live like that! And we followed her wishes! Thank you again.
