Drivers do not use a meter. Call the airport attendant. It is illegal. Sometimes Thai people are hit by it, but they are more bold to tourists than to use the service. The app calls the car to avoid the problem of price overcharged drivers. If you don't want to press the meter, don't go to the service.

The Taxi driver is an a#%, 1400 baht from the airport is ridiculous. I'd rather take 2 taxi and pay at least 500 baht less.
