That looked like a targeted hit just seconds earlier, cop did his job and being alone, first called for back-up, although the assumption was the driver was dying, and the assailants could be watching and circling the area. I was double checking, they can only call for Ambulance and maybe render first aid if possible. Only CHP are EMT trained not Sheriff's. It would be bad conduct of it was CHP because they are all supposedly certified.
