Ya know I'm guessing we all wondered life with Chad, Tammy was on depression meds. Omg I see why looks like Chad ruled with a iron fist. Hearing Tammy's family speak. She Cleary. Came from a love fun caring home. So betrayed by chad and the kids siding with him. Acknowledge what he did. Speak to him if you want. But to disown all Tammy's family Iis just insane. Not one of them went to their grandmother's funeral. Very scary. As parent s were suppose to teach our kids right from wrong. Alway's do the right thing. Love your families they matter most. True. But sadly Colby Ryan did not escape his horribly dysfunctional and toxic family, under convicted murderer mother Lori Vallow-Daybell, unscathed. Far from it - as his own recent, heinous criminal history confirms! Far too many people are willing to ignore/forgive the fact Colby Ryan's wife Kelsee reported him to police for raping her in September 2022, while they were estranged. She had no reason to fabricate that rape accusation, and in fact he fully admitted to raping her on a subsequent audio recording. She ultimately dropped the rape charges, no doubt under pressure from him, and due to their shared custody of children. He was ordered not to 'initiate contact' with her. While the very serious rape charges against Ryan were dismissed thanks to her, crucially they were dismissed 'without prejudice', meaning they could be reinstated by prosecutors at any time. He was guilty! Incredibly, today the mother of his two daughters is reconciled with him, is pregnant, and is expecting his first son. They now feature on a KZbin channel, showcasing their family life. Colby needs to show moral courage and true commitment to his forgiving wife (and their children), by seeking urgent, intensive psychotherapy. He is a rapist, there's no escaping the fact, and rapists are one of the most serious categories of violent criminals, and one of the most dangerous. No question, Colby Ryan belongs in prison for committing that ultimate crime of sexual violence. Make no mistake - that he raped his estranged wife, rather than a total stranger, does not make his sexual violence against a woman any less serious, depraved or despicable! The only reason he was not locked up as he fully deserved (like his similarly dysfunctional, self-serving and violent mother), is that his estranged wife declined to pursue a prosecution for his vile sexual assault on her. He is a very lucky man. We can only hope he is also a reformed man, with remorse and a conscience, who feels the enormous shame he 100% should for raping the mother of his children.

No Tammy didn’t “ help create those monsters “. For one thing your overly dramatic characterization of her kids is childish. You can do everything right raising children and once they kit their teens they start interacting with the world, other influences and start molding themselves. And as adults they are responsible for their OWN decisions- not their parents. And not doing what’s right by their mother is despicably selfish and wrong. But it doesn’t make them “ monsters “. Serial killer’s, murderers, Pedos are monster who commit monstrous acts, Tammy’s children’s actions aren’t even close to that. And by blathering such nonsense and then blaming Tammy for the actions of her GROWN adult children, you insult those who’ve been victims of REAL monsters and you smear a dead woman unable to defend herself. So in using YOUR criteria we’d all be justified in saying that YOU are a monster!
@gaiagreen26907 ай бұрын
@@colleenwhitman9040 Children to not grow up in a vacuum and then suddenly mold themselves into entirely new personalities when they reach their teen years. Children develop their individual characters from the time they are born, through the constant interaction with their primary family members. They imbibe all the family values and the unwritten rules around them. As we have heard multiple times from the people who knew them all, Chad Daybell was a cold, stern, controlling and authoritative husband and father, while Tammy was mostly a submissive wife and mother who fulfilled her traditional duties and worked hard so that her lazy husband could write garbage stories, boss everyone around and pretend to be a divine being with special powers. We have also seen that Tammy shared his fringe beliefs and even implemented them on the children in her school and in their neighbourhood. That has shocked most of us and to a certain degree it has also changed everyone's assumptions about Tammy being unaware of Chad's lunatic theories. The Daybell children grew up in that atmosphere, they were tought those fringe views from early on by BOTH of their parents and from what we saw in their horrid testimonies, they still very much believe in light and dark, demonic possessions etc. They also grew up seeing their father devalue their mother, exploit her and forbid her the simplest of pleasures, and yet Tammy made a decision to stay with him, to share his pathological theories and to raise her children in what a few mental health experts have described as a Daybell family cult. She shares some of the responsibility for that. For whatever reason, Tammy promoted Chad's inner darkness, until it turned against her. The Daybell offspring are now the product of both Chad's and Tammy's upbringing, and the result of that upbringing, displayed clearly on the witness stand, revolted most of us. Also, no one claimed that the Daybell offspring are murderers; the term "monsters" was used to describe their lies, cruelty and deprecation of their murdered mother and their blind and perjurious defense of their murdering father. The vast majority of us are still shocked by the Daybell offspring's pathological lack of love toward their mother, and it was in that context that the original commentator called them monsters. To a certain extent, I do understand some people's attempts to declare that Emma Murray, Garth Daybell and the rest of Chad's sons and daughters are victims as well, but they themselves have clearly dismantled any notion of them grieving for Tammy, so very few of us are still charitable toward them. Their loud and clear denial of the facts and their inhumane rejection of their mother's tragedy are also their intentional choices, and that is THE most important aspect of their characters that will stay recorded for the future. They don't feel like victims, so why should we inssisst into making them into such? After this trial's revelations, for the most of us Tammy now represents the dangers of blind religious fanaticism that often eats it's own, and her sons and daughters are the end products of it.

Condemning someone to death is never easy; our natural instinct is to preserve life. Yet, when heinous crimes show a complete disregard for life, the harshest punishment becomes necessary. Chad Daybell displayed no remorse or concern for his fate. Listening to the victim impact statements was heartbreaking, revealing the profound pain and broken relationships left in the wake of his actions. None of his children stood by their mother, instead defending their father and echoing his harmful beliefs. Daybell's influence turned his children against their mother and extended family, leaving the children isolated. This man has wrought immense suffering and revealed a deeply disturbing nature.

I'm not saying he doesn't have tough days, but what he has been dealt is some of the roughest set of circumstances imaginable! Colby could have easily bent to his Mother's will and word, and justified all of if by taking into consideration that she was the only one in his family actually alive. But his integrity wouldn't allow it. The Daybell children on the other hand still have their siblings; 5 among them. Yet they refuse to defended their Mom, lie and excuse their Dad, and Emma sleeps fine residing on the property where Colby's siblings were so brutaly burried. I'm still upset that Emma had the audacity to speak unkindly of Colby all things considered. She and her siblings could learn from Colby if they weren't so busy thinking they were "better than." They will never have the outpouring of support Colby does, and Colby will never have the siblings they do. But only one has their dignity in tact and that's priceless in and of itself. Kay Woodcock and family still have the AZ trial this august. Lori is being brought up against two chrges of conspiracy to commit murder. One for the death of Charles Vallow, the other for the attempted murder of Brandon Boudreax. No DP sentence in AZ though.

Correction here...I misspoke on AZ death penalty sentencing. They do have it, but they have suspended the actual executions until the governor, et al reviews the procedures. I heard that the reason for temporarily halting them was bc last prisoner execution was botched. It didn't go as it should have. Sorry for the misinformation!

I am a bit taken aback that the Daybell children didn't come out to support their mom from the very beginning of this trial. I understand that they obviously love their dad, I'm not sure if their actions are absalute denial or there is something more sinister going on. All of his children supported Chad and professed his innocence, which was very odd! The impact statements were incredibly sad, heart breaking! So many families and relationships are ruined and forever changed. Chad absolutely got what he deserved.

I don’t think the children of Chad, ever heard the phone calls and texts between Lori, till after they testified! That’s why I don’t think they showed up for the impact statements or sentencing! They finally know the truth!!!

They’ve been raised in the cult of Chad’s teachings their entire lives. It’s all they’ve known. I’m not saying that’s an excuse. It’s an explanation. My hope is they will someday reach out to Tammy’s entire family who want that lost loving relationship with them. They will also need intensive therapy and support. In order for them to truly begin to heal - they will have to give up every single thing they’ve ever believed and known. And to do so without their mother and their father. That is incredibly daunting. Imagine - needing to accept that your father - who you have always been told is a prophet of god - is a liar, a murderer and one of those murders was your own mothers. To go against or confront the truth means - to them at this point - to go against god. That may seem I,logical, ridiculous or even “easy” to any of us. We are not them. We have not been immeshed and immersed in chads cult beliefs our entire lives as they have. Imagine that pain, that loss, that shame. Also knowing that most of the world vilifies you and your entire family as well. They are caught between horrific pain and devastating pain. My sincere hope is they can find people who will help them see and KNOW they have no responsibility for their father’s actions. They can move forward in a life with meaning, and happiness. No one can do it for them. It must be up to them.

Watching and listening to these broken family members brings the incredible tragedy of this home for us. Thanks to the media for keeping this investigation and trial accessible to us. Thanks to Judge Boyce for televising this trial. Our justice system needs to be open, transparent and available to our citizens. It is the center of our democracy and our constitution. As Scott Reisch says "The Constitution matters." Justice was hard won for the victims in Idaho but we saw justice today. And yes, Kay, we will see you in Arizona.

Losing JJ and Tylee is beyond words! So much love for those children!! I’m lost for words as they did not deserve such evil people taking their lives! Justice is here and moving on without your JJ is just heartbreaking 💔 Tylee beautiful 16 year old girl who will not have a chance to pursue her dreams! God Bless! Charles boys and sibling need their chance to speak out for him and see both Chad and Lori pay for his loss of life!!
