Maddy is definitely one of my favourite characters on the show and I've really enjoyed watching their relationship grow over time. Thank you for some many great moments..

I would love to see the series to evolve to a feature file or amazon bring the show back every so often as a limited 2 part 2hr event....however keeping the series going would be my 1st choice. Fantastic series.

Someone commented in another Bosch-related video that a relative they watched the show with rolled their eyes whenever Maddie appeared! But I've never felt that. Always seemed like the relationship had a depth and reality to it, and that Madison Lintz and Titus Welliver did great work in bringing these two to life. Long may it continue!

The best crime show on TV. Sorry to see it go. Each character is superbly done. It would be orgasmic to see it run longer. Bosch has been my favorite to read for years. Never gets stale.

Madison Lintz, who is best known for Sophia, TV series "The Walking Dead". Most people recognize her as a Sophia walker (zombie). She played the version of human Sophia in season 1 and 2 of The Walking Dead.

when I saw the character had a daughter I was like 'ohhhhhhh shit.... she's going to get into dumb situations and Harry will have to get her out of it'...... was I ever wrong.... Maddie is a brilliant character and and Madison Lintz is a phenomenal actor. What an amazing job Michael Connell, the other writers and Titus did on this series

It has been a great pleasure watching the online relationship of these two characters develop. But it wouldn't be nearly so interesting if Lintz were not a very good actor in her own right. One thing I have noticed about her acting is that her responses are attuned to her character of Maddie, not just as Bosch's daughter but as the person her character is. The Maddie character is one of sympathy, independence, and intelligence and this is how Lintz conveys her in her reactions to the other characters. It's been interesting to watch her grow up on screen and Titus has a primary view of his screen daughter. Bosch supports his daughter's decisions in the same way that Welliver supports Lintz' acting decisions. It's been special to see Lintz develop her character as a teenage girl into adulthood. It reminds me a little of watching Johnny Crawford with Chuck Connors in RIFLEMAN or Tony Dow and Jerry Mathers develop their characters in reference to Barbara Billingsley and Hugh Beaumont in LEAVE IT TO BEAVER, and it may partly explain why actors as parental characters of childhood actors add an extra dimension and longevity to such shows featuring these relationships. In the past, many excellent child actors were not "allowed" to grow up by their audiences but the Maddie Bosch character has finally bucked this trend and we are seeing Lintz make the transition to an adult actor as well. It's a shame that in the past a lot of great television actors were not able to transition to films (one of the greatest, television's first method actor, Vic Morrow in COMBAT, found his career stalled when he tried to return to film work) but the new platforms have finally removed the stigma of being what was once referred to as a "television" actor.

You can tell Titus is a big reason the show has side stepped the usual father daughter relationship where she is just there to be in danger or to be an annoying obstacle in her dad's storyline. They really work well together

crate and barrel are a hoot. The head of detectives getting burned by her past office romance was good writing and well acted. The chief was a surprise. I always thought he might end up as bosch's dad in the books. Casting him as a black guy was unexpected but he has done very well with the character as written. He is much more of a nemesis to bosch in the books. On tv he is just a slightly corrupt official.
