What really happened was the performer didn't happen to high five the two girls because it sometimes happens that they miss a kid or two for whatever reason. Now the problem here was that the two girls happened to be black and the performer's life is over. The kids got a wave but not a high five and now they want the performer's head on a stick and a multi-million dollar lawsuit.

It's an ugly world out there & it's hard to explain that to little children...a reverse situation happened to my 10 year old nephew at the Philadelphia 76'ers basketball game. He went up to Bill Cosby and asked him for an autograph as he seen Mr. COSBY interacting with his fans. BILL said and I quote" Mr Cosby doesn't give out autographs anymore" as he continued to sign scraps of paper to children of color..I will never forget the confused heartbroken look as he sulked in his seat defeated. Children do not understand racism & sometimes all the excuses in the world doesn't make it feel better.

Some people need to learn what traumatizing is and is definitely not a few kids not getting a hi five trauma is something totally different please look up in the dictionary the definition trauma :a deeply distressing or disturbing experience a personal trauma like the death of a child or physical injury, blunt force trauma the park needs to sue the parents big time and so dose the actual person in the character outfit these kid are not mentally scared more like mentally challenged in the first place the parents need to seriously explain to the brats you don't always get what you want or expect no matter what age you are I'd bang there bloody stupid spoilt heads against a brick wall till they understood

It seems more of a protected method to not spead germs to young children who did not have on gloves. Did the characters follow up to clasps hands with other small children? I saw the character show a no no before he reached the young children.
@pdelores12242 жыл бұрын
If it was a protected method then nobody should be touched. The mother clearly states that Rosita ignore her daughter and niece but proceeded to hug the white child next to them. That shows Rosita and other characters don't want to interact with black children. I believe the characters talk to each other about not messing with black kids. I'm glad the mother exposed them because it appears the other family were ignoring the red flag. Now all kids will have good memory about sesame place.

It is not good. But I think that mother immediately saw $$$ signs!!!! There are lots of different ways to correct this situation. The mother could've go after that character and just say excuse me you missed two quite little girls!! But o my Goodness now it is mental health counseling lawyers and the mother is heart broken. Life is tuff. Almost any negative action or thing in live can be sorted out in a decent way!! I am so sick and tired of this behavior because they wore not looking like the girl he acknowledged just before the two girls. And I bet those two girls won't see a dime if there is a settlement! Just my opinion.
@cathylewis39672 жыл бұрын
So you are actually proposing that the mother get into a confrontation with the character in a children's theme park no less. Did you think about this before you wrote it? If she did go after the performer and the performer mistreated her, how do you think that would end? And what if this confrontation that you propose resulted in a shouting match or worse. Then you'd be complaining about how uncouth and ghetto the mother is for fighting over innocent children at a children's them park. The fact is that the mother went through the proper channels. She notified the corporate offices of Sesame Place and secured legal counsel. You want to accuse her of trying to get $$$ and yet the woman has not filed a lawsuit. The retention of legal counsel is not, in every case, about $$$. It can, and in this case, seems to be about pushing Sesame Place to make systemic change, and to help the girls deal with the emotional scars from this experience. Therapy does not cost millions of dollars. It could be as little as 3 or 4 sessions for a couple of hundred dollars each, but the way you sound, one would think the mother is trying to get a new house and a yacht on Sesame Place's dime. Give me a break, and stop projecting your own greedy get over spirit on to this mother!
