During the late 1960s, McFadden & Whitehead were members of a North Philly vocal group called the Epsilons who recorded the local Philly hit, "The Echo" in 1968. RIP

McFadden and Whitehead had one of the biggest hits of all time. Ain't No Stopping Us Now ! Everyone can relate to that song no matter where you came from or what your background. That song is loved as much as when it first came out. So sad to hear John Whithead was shot and died and nobody knows why. Someone out there knows, the shooter knows. It would be even more sadder if this was a case of mistaken identity. One thing I do know, John Whithead left his mark in this world for generation after generation with one of the greatest songs of all time ! And everytime we play or hear that song, John Whithead will never be forgotten ! Rest in Peace !
