Hello Starlights I hope you are having an amazing day/night, but if not hopefully this video makes it better somehow.
Ever since summer break started my dad has been calling me out for being lazy and just teasing me about some of my depressive habits. I haven’t been taking care of myself because I just can’t be bothered. I don’t want to do anything other than sleep and stay locked in my room. My mother knows I’m depressed and is patient with me and gives me my space and tries to motivate me. My dad also knows. I brought up the fact that I’m not doing the best at dinner a few weeks ago and my dad has payed no mind to it. I’ve been getting worse and my sleep schedule and ability to do things as simple as eat have been affected. My dad doesn’t seem to care and on Father’s Day he had some of his dad friends over and I could hear them talking about me. He makes me feel shitty but I can’t say anything. I love my dad and it just makes his words hurt more. I try to lock myself up to avoid him, but every time we meet he just makes terrible comments. I know my dad and he probably doesn’t mean to hurt me, but he is.

After hearing about your first vent and hearing about your problems with your father, I thought: surely this can be helped. Now, I’m not so sure. You did nothing to deserve these words and it is disgusting that your own father would say those things about you, his daughter, behind your back.
