Yep. I love the house set up of family ties. Especially the kitchen of family ties. The other house set ups that I really love are the house set ups of : 1. Who's the boss? I especially love the living room setup of who's the boss? And the cozy kitchen setup of who's the boss? as well because this is where Tony cooks a lot and I love the front elevation of the who's the boss? house. The white vinyl with black shutters with the huge white pillars on either side of the front door make an elegant house decor and design. 2. The golden girls kitchen set up and the golden girls porch/lanai set up, and I love the front elevation of the golden girls house, because it's very well suited for warm weather. 3. The family Matters living room set up and the Family Matters kitchen setup. And, I love the front elevation of the family matters house, it shows that a nice humble middle class family lives there.

I'm surprised Elyse is defending a woman who is taking her son across the country from a loving father. Regardless of gender, I don't think a divorced person should be allowed to put him- or herself before the kid's relationship with the other parent due to wanting a "fresh start."

This episode is so touching. It is one of my favorite episodes of family ties. It shows that divorce can be a really difficult thing for the kids. Family ties did some episodes on some really heavy issues such as teen pregnancy, divorce, getting addicted to amphetamines/speed, etc...

When men have to pay women thousands of dollars a month in alimony after the divorce because the woman has grown accustom to a certain lifestyle is ridiculous. And even forcing the men to continue making those payments after the woman has re-married.

The following scene when Steven confronts the father in the diner is one of my favorite scenes in the series. This was a fantastic episode.

Steven and Elyse are good parents, but this shows them how not perfect they are, Steven can be blissfully ignorant to certain things, and Elyse can be flakey at times.
