We’re Dean & Nala, and we’ve been best friends since December 2018. I was actually cycling around the world when I heard Nala meowing out for me somewhere in the Bosnian mountains. With no intentions of keeping Nala, I knew i had to save the wee kitten and take her to the vet - but I was well aware of the fact that it might be a bit of a challenge considering I only had a bike. However, despite my concerns, Nala quickly climbed out of the front bag on the bike handle and straight onto my shoulder. Since then, we’ve been travelling the world together. When i had a dog, we buy for her one that was around her chest and below the neck, for the same reasons, i was afraid that i would shoke her if something hapened and i had to quiqli raise her up or stop her while we walk ( she was the only dog i had, before i had a cat that i grew up with and now i have two cats and feed strais here. She arrived in my grand mother house around the date my mom got her house, and as she didnt want to leave with other people, my uncle told my mom we should take her). We always think that she must have been stolen for a house, she knew to jump in to cars, she was recently gromed, dhe knew how to walk stairs to a second floor, and was using an arnest without the string but it was a leather one ( here in that time they were expensive). She lived with us untill she got sick, and she was really beutiful, at that time it was more dificult have pets, my familly isnt from money and my mom worked hard to own a house, my uncle still was living with my grandparents and my mom and i used to sleep on the living room before she got the house. Now i have two cats and i try to help hwo i can.

I love that you parents got Nala a “window bowl” to for napping in the glassed-in porch. It doesn’t get more cat-perfect than that. She’s their spoiled little fur-grandchild. I think it's because he's a man. I can be holding any of my cats while they are so relaxed but when my husband opens the front door, BAM! They're gone like a streak of lightening to welcome him home. Aww, seeing this really makes me miss the Scots. Studied in St Andrews a few years back and immediately fell in love with the country and its people. I'm from Westphalia, so being met with such kindness from strangers was something that really surprised me and still puts a smile on my face. Strongly encourage everyone to visit Scotland at least once (as long as you're ok with rain).

I've watched this one so many times. Good episode, so funny. Your sister is a riot. Can't say how proud we all are of you, with your book and all your merchandising. But mainly of course, of your travels, and finding Nala along the way. Bringing her into you life and heart has been an absolute privilege and heartwarming to witness as you go along. I absolutely love how he and his sister interact!!! Totally got the sibling rivalry love/hate thing going on, which anyone who has a sibling can tell is totally healthy and normal. His family is fantastic, and his grandma reminds me SO much of my great-grandma, who was just the greatest gift I could have had in my life. You can tell everything about a person by the way they treat the vulnerable...like feral kittens, the elderly, strangers, etc. And Dean honestly embodies everything that makes a good person!! Everyone should strive to treat one another the same way Dean would!!
