This is really good! Especially the way it replicates the way Hank sang "ever-body" and "kee-yare" ... The only thing that I'd have changed, would be the line "in nineteen seventy three"... To "in nineteen fifty 'n three''.... Which is how Hank would have probably sung a date. But I gotta say... That "Straight Outta Compton" is PURE GOLD! It sounds EXACTLY like Senior to me... And I've been a Hank Williams freak for my entire life. I know em all backwards 😂

@@jakethecarsandreactorvideo9409 indeed. Sr's original version was recorded so badly, it sounds like a demo. Jr's version is much better, instrumentally. I think Sr's voice would sound great with the modern instrumentation.

@@johnhill762I believe it was a demo originally. Sr left a fair number of demos with mixed recording quality. After he died MGM released quite a few recordings of the drifting cowboys playing against his demos, it's quite strange to hear the crackles start only when he sings, along with a soft guitar. Low Down Blues and Ain't Got Nothing But Time are two good examples. Jr and Hank 3 made recordings with his songs and demos as well as you well know, but its quite a contrast to hear it done with more primitive recording tech. I don't mind the rough recordings personally, I listen to a lot of scratchy records and after a while the brain tunes the crackles out for the most part. I've got a few Hank 78s uploaded to my channel of various quality as I'm recording them through a cheap valve record player, I find the valve equipment is kinder to those old crackly recordings too.
