Carly, your worksheets are a game changer! I am working on our family history with my grandfather, who is 87, and the online services are too complicated for him to follow along. So being able to create cover sheets for all the documents we have found, and print them out so he can understand them, is so exciting and valuable. It’s exactly like you said - it basically tells a story on its own. Thank you so so much for creating these worksheets. I’m so thrilled to have found you!

I love your sheets they are amazing, just wish you would have like the sheets made for double side, because I use double size printing. And also I don't know if you know rather than writing down the tab there is an avery printable tabs that I use Avery 16282 Repositiable Tabs Comes 80 in Pack and you can use the template online to type in what you want and rearrange the tabs on your print page anytime you change where you want to tabs to go just like the one you use now. Just a thought.

I love notebooks! I'm starting but I have no idea where to classify the other children of an ancestor. Because you can either put them with the father or mother (or both?) Or with the siblings of the next generation ancestor... What works best for you? Thank you

Hi Rosa! Sorry for the slow reply - I usually put them as siblings of an ancestor just to be consistent but it's completely a matter of personal preference.

Which printer do you use? Thanksss

Where you put the brother or sister of the root?
@FamilyTreeNotebooks2 жыл бұрын
I use sibling pages to add the info inside the root person’s chapter. Other people have created sibling chapters using the blank index pages to number them.

Well, I have to inform you that I had DNA tested. The website has identified 9,970 Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Cousins that are DNA connected to myself. I really don't think your binder would accommodate anywhere near 9,970 cousins.
@FamilyTreeNotebooks3 жыл бұрын
Yes, that wouldn’t work!! I hope finding all those cousins hasn’t overwhelmed you to the point that you don’t keep records for any of your family. If it has, I would definitely suggest starting with your nearest two generations and slowly moving outward.

I have watched a couple of your youtube videos, You never cite your sources from what I see. So if someone behind you your information lacks credibility fact you don't follow BCG standards. It's just paper, sorry.

I should do one on sources. I have a source citation page that's separate from the other pages because when I give the pages to family, they don't necessarily want the sources. I agree, though, the produced materials would have greater genealogical weight if I included correct citations on each page.
