FAMILY VAN TOUR | with POP-TOP | Van Life With Kids in a Citroen Relay

We've been banging on about it for ages, and finally it's here, our VAN TOUR of our long-wheel base Citroen Relay which we self-converted into a 5 berth campervan with a POP-TOP. The great part of this is that we have tried and tested our conversion by living in it full time with our 3 kids and dog, travelling across 12 countries in 7 months from the top of Norway to coastal Spain.

Definitely the best one I've seen. We are a family of 5, but we have to content with a tall 10 year old, 14 year old and 6 year old. Still trying to work out how to fit them all in. I think the pop top is gonna be the way forward.

Great video and van guys, we are touring in the Alps at the moment with our 11yr old boy. We are heading down through Italy for our 90 days, then back to Moray, Scotland where we live now. Not very many families on the road, so good to see you guys out there. Love the pop top, amazing addition 👍👍

you have a great setup there guys with impressive use of space. My viv-viv-i-van is a small van as I'm on my own but I've gven serious thought to selling my house, trading viv-i-van in and buying a bigger crafter/ducato/mercedes van and living in it full time. I have not looked into it fully yet and am going to try staying in Viv-i-van for a few nights a time to get used to van life. I do love the fact that you are giving your kids an incredible life experience and they look like they are loving it. Love your pop top. You only seem to stay on each site for a couple of nights, but could you have an awning/ pop up tent to sleep in during summer to create more space? They are mifold seats so they fold down and go in the front x

Your van is so much more than the, builders van, it may have started life as, loving the pop top but as my van will only be for me and my wife, I’m sure we won’t need one……or till grand kids come along 😂😂. Keep safe guy and keep enjoying the adventures

Absolutely. They bolt actually crosses into the van itself, so I don't think anyone would stand a chance just pulling the door!

Just standard with the van, 3 seats in the front 👍 Although we did swap it out for a double swivel so it turns round. The original one didn't do that.

Great video. I’m gonna start following you I just subscribed. I have a question town… I’m thinking about buying a van and I’m wondering if I want to add the pop- top for the kids. What is the temperature like up there in it, when it is freezing cold outside and also when it’s scorching hot? Do you have any issues with that? Is it really worth investing in please.

We had a b2b charger, but no solar on this. We used a power bank. However we've since moved into a lorry which we converted last year and that's got plenty of solar 👍
