Girl, I'm a senior in college and still get homesick and struggle with the college life. Its dang hard living away from your family & leaving the life you've always known and starting over in a sense. Give yourself grace and let yourself be sad (but don't stay there too long) and lean into God and your friends there. Its dang hard but you're doing SO GOOD!

For the cold, I strongly recommend investing in down jackets (long one and short one). Moving to Utah (basically same climate as Colorado) was definitely a change in temperature and the best thing I did was get real down coats (they come in various price points but Patagonia and mountain hardware often have sales and Black Friday is coming up). They are so warm and they pack down so easily, so they are super easy to bring in a backpack hiking/concerts/traveling/etc.
