I can relate my dad is very abusive and alcoholic and when he’s angry he takes his anger out on me like I was a burden and he emotionally, physically verbally , mentally and sexually abused me as a small child and as I got older he’s no longer around anymore I developed with severe depression anxiety and ptsd also battling with self-harming myself. I’m traumatized by that traumatic event happened to me as a child.

This story had a great ending cause the ending I’ve seen for stories like these don’t have a happy one. Like in that one where the boyfriend fat shamed his girlfriend and later regretted it after she left him. He could apologize but that trust was broken anyway. Sometimes when trust is broken, it can’t be fixed. David almost his family but came to his senses after reading the note and went to get help and got a new job. I agree, it’s never right to take your anger out on your family.
