FAMILY BAKE OFF to WIN £1000 for CHRISTMAS! | Family Fizz

Professional Baker here 🙋🏼‍♀️ first of all you all did a great job and as always I love to watch! but a few of my thoughts because I know that you love to gain knowledge. No critic just baking insides 😇 1. Custard only sets from hot to cold, you cannot "re-heat" it to let it set again. Solution would have been heat it with some Agaragar to then let it set 2. The energy ball recipe has been correct you just needed to let ist set in the fridge for 1-2h then when it is hard, form the balls only with the warmth of your hands 3. The baking form of sienna for the cheesecake was not upside down 🤭, the no bake cheesecake bottom layer stuck to the try because of the fat. To avoid that place a circle shaped baking paper underneath or heat up an empty baking tray in the oven, when it's hot take it out and place the cheesecake on the tray for 10-15sec that will warm up the first layer slightly and it will slide off 5. Next time you have to much ingredients to mix in one go. Combine the ingredients in a bowl first, then mix it in two goes and then again with the whole patch. 4. Georgie next time for a tall cake, but only having a 24cm baking form, just bake the layers on a whole tray and then cut out in circles to stack. The left over cake can easily made into cakepops/energy balls with the left over icing. A real esthetic cake is 15cm diameters with 17-18cm hight. 5. You could have simply chopped up the chocolate with the blender in "pulse" setting Sending you lots of love from Austria. Mimi

The fastest one hour video i have ever watched. I didn’t ever realize it was an hour long until i finished it and checked because I enjoyed it so much. I love these bake offs, you are all super talented, just wow! Georgie always makes me laugh, her facial expressions and the sounds she was making when she was putting her cake layers in the oven and telling sienna off cracked me up, i kept repeating that clip cause it was so funny 😂 and the desserts, ahh honestly how can you even judge which is the best, they all look delicious and very beautiful i loved them all! 🤍

I feel like Georgie has repressed anger lol, or maybe all of them towards the end. I can feel the stress. Every time they do something like this I wonder why they change the amounts, it is not hard to follow a recipe and make something that comes out to plan. Also why should cake be healthy?
