I know it was meant to be funny scene, but the argument between Kat and Stretch was my favorite part. She barely knew Caspar 5 seconds but when she saw he was getting picked on, let's just say the Ghostly Trio is lucky that Ray took his proton pack with him.

Honestly how much fun would it be being a ghost. There is little downsides to it. You can fly, shape shift, go invisible, fly through walls, never need to stay warm, wear clothes again, eat and drink whatever you want, scare everyone who bugs you. If you became a ghost wouldn't you want to haunt with these guys

@@raymicheals4127 referencing zombie and other undead lore, eating and drinking scratches a psychological itch that they still hold on to. Being dead and all, that's all they have. Like in Return of the Living Dead they say that eating brains momentarily nullifies the pain of being dead, and IIRC in POTC Black Pearl they eat food they can't taste simply because it allows them to feel some assemblance of being alive again, if only for a brief moment. Sounds like a tortured existence to me... They're eternally chasing the highs of what living was like, never getting satisfied.

@@deeya I agree with what you're saying that it sounds horrible but in this movie it doesn't say it's a cursed existence or a unnatural phenomenon. It's more of a part of existence some people have ties that keep them haunting the living but they don't wallow in pity they revel in their afterlife all happy and comfortable with their situation. Even when other characters become ghosts they too enjoy to some compacity being a ghost. I agree with you but it's more of a choice rather than a curse

I wonder if the afterlife was like this in real life. If a person dies and becomes a ghost how would that effect society. How would religion work would people come together knowing what happens after death? What about murder would it go down knowing the victim can come back to haunt the murderer? And what about testifying in court would they be a witness to their own murder? What about the medical field would they stop advancing medical breakthrough since death is not the end? And insurance and job related deaths if someone died on the job and became a ghost would they go back to work same as usual or would they take the rest of the week off due to death? And how would society deal with ghosts being common place would there be a divide like ghosts and humans stay separated due to status like ghosts would be the poor vs the living rich or vice versa? What about dating if someone were to date a ghost would it be considered taboo or just weird if someone were to date the ghost of Amelia Earheart or King Arthur would it be frowned upon? I have so many questions
