They were gonna make Cat in the hat movie from Illumination, but after Grinch (2018) was failed at the Box office, Chris Meledandri decided to cancelled Illumination's Cat in the Hat. Plus the Grinch (2018) was their final Dr Seuss movie as they will be no future plans to make any more Dr Seuss movies.
