Tip: slightly fasten a deck screw in at an angle where a plate meets a stud (that edge/corner), then toenail the opposite side twice. The screw will act as a stop, allowing your final placement to match up nearly perfectly with your layout lines. Just unscrew, add your remaining toenail, rinse and repeat. Takes a little more time, but is great when you can't fasten with the wall on the ground.

What kind of framing nailer are you using, and do you like it? Also, what kind of compressor are you using, and what pressure do you have it set to? (I'm in the market for these tools right now...)

I'm using the Hitachi NR90. I do like it. They're great nailers with a good reputation. The NR83 is legendary though. Probably the best. Regarding the compressor, we're just using a small Porter-Cable pancake compressor here. I think it's set around 95 PSI or so. It's my dad's and seems to keep up fine. I do have a Rigid mini wheelbarrow type compressor that does good when running multiple guns at the same time.
