As someone who really wants to understand famitracker, this is actually helpful.

I'm extremely grateful that you shared some techniques that I don't see others use often. The edgy pitch bends and guitar harmonics are the ones that caught my interest the most! Thanks a ton for this!

I had no idea you could change the triangle channel's volume by using the Zxx command in the DPCM channel. I did know that all of the channels in APU 2 affect each other's volume, but I didn't know it could be used to this extent

yooo i did not know there was a mix paste command variant!! this will make mono-channel echos much easier to create!!!

Excellent! Very few chiptune composers give tutorials, so this is quite welcome.

hmm, from my experience the edgy pitchbends can be done with just a Rxy followed by a Qxy

Mega Man 2 used a similar strategy for Bubble Man's theme, (Triangle Echo) but the only difference is that the Square Wave was the echo

I don't really use those because i tend to make famitracker sound like GBA. But really they're interesting. It's just that i don't know what to use with them.

Hi i have some questions 0:54 how did you edit across rows like that? 4:13 insert row has hot keys? 6:47 how do you make note from other channel play while editing another channel?
@40Nix2 жыл бұрын
1) Inscrease Step amount at the left of the waveform display 2) Press Insert key on your keyboard 3) File > Configuration > General tab > Check "Preview full row" in General settings Have fun! :)

@40Nix5 жыл бұрын
I don't know where you can Famitracker instruments(.fti) but it would be helpful to analyze NSF file with NSFImport developed by rainworrior, which converts NSF to FTM.
