Famoudou Konate - King Of Djembe

Famoudou Konate is one of Guinea's most important djembe masters. Born in Sangbarala, he turned 80 this year and continues to play and teach in workshops. He now makes his first record of video memories. Long live Famoudou Konate!
Filmed in 2020 in Guinea, produced and directed by André "Piruka" Ricardo and Billy Konate, son of Famoudou.
