I often play this tank backwards, turning the turret 180º because people would think because of the sloped back plate that I am a T-34 on first glance and just shoot the sloped plate, which either bounces or only do little damage to the engine, which gives me enough time to place my shot and completely negates one-shots into the lower frontal plate. It's almost scary, how effective this is actually.

I have the Japanese M4A3 76 W and it's a great vehicle. The 76mm M1 gun is just like very accurate sniper rifle. It's penetration is pretty good but it sometimes can do wonders. The mobility is very good, it turns really well and it drives up to 42 km/h. But the minus there is reverse speed. Only 5 km/h. The turret turns pretty quickly (when maxed out). 12.7mm M2 Browning machine gun on roof is really good for lightly armored vehicles and planes that are just wanting to bomb you. The armor isn't really good but sometimes you can bounce Panther, M18, other Shermans, Tiger 1, and T-34-85 shells. Back to the machine guns, the 12.7mm and 7.62mm Brownings are lots lots better than the Machine guns that normal Japanese tanks have. They have better penetration, better firerate, and the magazines are much bigger. I've researched already the M41A1 and I must say that M4A3 76 W was more pleasing tank to play. The M41A1 doesn't have stabilisation so if you stop you couldn't be able to shot the opponent fast enough. Overall I love this tank and I recommend it to everyone. It is really easy to play and it's hella fun but sometimes annoying. It gets 10/10 from me, best tank I've ever played

Ammo rack on wheels. tbh, it doesnt live up to its name in war thunder. T-34-85 at same br is much more nimble and versatile than is-2. Its still fun to cut through shermans and tigers with that big gun

I prefer the Panther A, myself. With that said, the reverse speed is absolute garbage and while the 75mm on the Panther has quite high penetration values, the APHE damage once you do hit the shot is fairly meh. It's a hard choice. Extra points for being sexy as fuck, though.
