I had the pleasure of interviewing Kenny Rogers in 1979. One thing that struck me is that he looked a person right in the eye when answering a question, which left my 23-year-old self more than a little flustered. 😊

It's truly a gift to those of us who enjoy this series that we take the time and patience to do the legwork in searching these sites ranging from worldwide fame to lesser type fame. We supply the raw footage as Mr.Dark supplies the biographical text. It's educational, informative and just plain entertaining. I know we all look forward to these series when they come out. Bravo to all of us but especially Mr. Dark. 😊

I love how you highlighted so many musicians. Harold Reid in particular was a huge part of my childhood listening to the Statler Brothers with my grandma as well as introducing me to gospel music. He and his brother, Don, made up half the Statler Brothers. Thank you Harold for being such a huge inspiration. How amazing is it that someone visited David Peverett? I was able to visit Foghat's guitarist, Rod Price, in New Hampshire in this string of viewers specials.

Buckwheat Zydeco has a special place in my heart. He co-headlined an outdoor concert (with Fats Domino) which was my then 5-year-old daughter; it was her first live music event. Halfway through his first song my daughter loudly proclaimed "I've gotta dance" and did just that through his entire set. ❤
