TAKSIM MOSQUE
Taksim Mosque is a mosque complex in Taksim Square, Istanbul. It was designed by two Turkish architects in the Art Deco style.
AYASOFYA MOSQUE (HAGIA SOPHIA) MUSEUM
Ayasofya Mosque - Hagia Sophia is one of the most famous historical sites in Istanbul and one of the most beautiful ones was commissioned by the Byzantine Emperor Justinian in 537 CE and served as a church until 1453 CE when the Ottomans conquered Istanbul.
BLUE MOSQUE - THE SULTAN AHMET MOSQUE
The Sultan Ahmet Mosque or popularly known as the ‘Blue Mosque’, due to the blue tiles of its interior, leaves the visitor in wonder. It is located in the Sultan Ahmet vicinity. Sultan Ahmet built the mosque from 1609 to 1616, and there is a resting area.
THE DOLMABAHCE MOSQUE The Dolmabahçe Mosque is a baroque waterside mosque in Kabataş in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul, Turkey, and designed by the Turkish Armenian architect, Garabet Balyan in 1855
THE SULEMANIYE MOSQUE
The Süleymaniye Mosque is an Ottoman imperial mosque located on the Third Hill of Istanbul, Turkey. The mosque was commissioned by Suleiman the Magnificent and designed by the imperial architect Mimar Sinan. An inscription specifies the foundation date as 1550 and the inauguration date as 1557.
