Each and every language is unique itself ... i.e malayalam, punjabi, marathi, telugu, Hindi, bengali, gujrati etc. Why only Urdu is targetted as Hindustani ? Do you think those other languages are not or less "Hindustani" in your book ?? Correct yourself URDU is URDU. For your info URDU is more Pakistani and ppl speak the same Urdu in Burma too. How in the world you label Urdu as Hindustani?? Marathi is Marathi, Bengali is Bengali, Telugu is Telugu, Urdu is Urdu, not hindustani. Rather URDU is more Pakistani than Hindustani. Pakistan's national language is Urdu. Take my advise you better title languages those are Hindustan limited only as Hindustani; Such as Malyalam, Marathi or Telugu. because these are the only languages that are spoken and understood in Hindustan, and nowhere else in the world. It's Hindustani language, born in Indian heartland with the fusion of Farsi, khariboli and sanskrit. Also occasioal vocabulary from middle eastern and Portuguese language. It was official language of North India, MP and Deccan region. It's really disappointing when indians term it as Islamic language, which it isn't. When pakistan was formed they borrowed it from us. Also you will be surprised to know that the earliest shayari were mainly devotional in nature praising Lord Ram & Krishna and Allah. Later on themes such as Love, life, happiness, sadness etc became popular. Please check Wikipedia for more information. Thanks

I am sure that was a piece of cake for Noziya KaramatuAllah ... this is pure Urdu poetry and has loads of words from Persian. Trust me, Noziya pronunciation and delivery is 100 times better than millions of Hindi speakers ... Honestly Hindi speaker cannot deliver these words with confidence such as, Anjumun, Cheez, Dil, Jaan, Dost, Kaha , Deewar o der, Ghair , Ehsaan, asmaa, zameen, khuwaab, Khoobsorat, Zindagee

Standard Urdu is a much more sophisticated language than standard Hindi which was basically knitted by the Pandits of Varanasi on the instructions of Britishers around 1800. The modern Hindi speakers are bound to speak Urdu with incorrect diction as there was a systematic attempt to kill urdu after Independence . But urdu has survived all these tests and loved by all and sundry.
