Absolutely. I have been married since age 20 and I’m now 36. Two years ago my marriage was Rocky and I was in a head on collision. My husband took care of me Day and night. It really made me realize how much he truly loves me and how lucky I am. I’m all better now and our marriage is stronger than ever. If I was a single mother when that happened we would have ended up in the street. Couldn’t get out of bed for 3 months and pain was so intense I literally was losing my mind. Then in January my husband had covid and was extremely ill Two months and I returned the favor and took care of him, running around doing door dash and side jobs trying to keep it together. Two are better than one. Stuff happened in life we need each other

I remember when my husband and I were surprised with our first pregnancy, he was in collage and working, and I was working. We were still only making very little and I applied for food assistance and because we made $5 dollars over the cut off they refused me. The woman told me if I divorced my husband I'd get way more help! I told her, I'm not divorcing my husband- we will make it work." I got really heavy into gardening and raising meat. We were in an apartment so I had to raise the garden at my parents house which they were totally happy to allow. Our meat, I raised right in my living room. (Rabbits and Quail). I got into the garden life so hard that my husband bought me a house with a big yard. Almost 15 years of being married and we are still crazy over each other. I don't know what I'd do without the rock and foundation of our family and home. He's a blessing.

"I've WAITED for my husband.." This logic baffles me because as a very attractive woman, if you approach a guy you like who also happens to be single, you probably have a 95% success rate. Men NEVER get approached and are taught to not only expect rejection, but to embrace it. And women if you approach a guy (a REAL approach, not the one second of eye contact with a subtle smirk nonsense) he's not gonna pull the rude BS like laughing in your face, calling his friends over to save him, or immediately scream I have a girlfriend in your face. This life is moving. You see something you like? Then go get it, ESPECIALLY if the odds of success are stacked in your favor

Then some females, particularly successful females, give off the "don't bother me/I'm too good for you" energy which causes men to avoid shooting their shot them. KB sent message to everyone: every child needs a father in his or her life. I also remember my mom told me and my siblings not to tell friends, school, or anyone about us having a father in our lives. i didn't understand why until i became an adult. I realized my mom was collecting welfare at the time. Number one rule for welfare was not to have father figure, single moms and kids depending on govt for help. My kids used to come to my jiujitsu class with me all the time. They trained in the adult class instead of with the other kids. One of my friends asked if I ever got submitted in front of my kids. I told him all the time, more often than not. Also, taken down, thrown, swept. He said it was a mistake to let my kids see someone get the best of me, that he would never want his kids to see that. I told him what I wanted my kids to see is me getting up over and over, not quitting. I wanted them to learn that failure is the fulcrum for success. These are the lessons we need to teach them.

Legit. If you have daughters, you want them to be grounded in reality. You don't want them to have false notions that cause them to lose all attraction to their husband when he takes a hit in life. You want them to see that as normal life, sometimes you take a hit. And then be with him & have his back as he gets up.

I did not grow up with a father. To this day I don’t know who he is. My single mother was also very much a man-bashing bitter feminist. She was not a kind woman. I raised my siblings due to her working three jobs because she “don’t need no man”. I can happily say God blessed me with a good man. Who is going to be an incredible father to our unborn child. I disagree with having to court. i didn't look for a man i worked on myself. I prayed and did what the lord told me to do. My husband found me no courting a bunch of men. If. A man wasn't ready for marriage we stayed in friend zone. That kept me safe no messed up relationships. No sex outside of marriage i waited for God to send my husband. There Is no one way you have to do things the way he leads you. Why does it have to mean that young lady did something wrong. The rrght man may not be available. So many men are in jail bums or abusive some men are not worth the time of day. I had a lot of men interested they just weren't marriage material.

I remember watching Celebrity Big Brother (That's the only season I've ever watched) and seeing Lolo talk about her being a virgin and waiting for a good Christian man. Her biggest issue was she was super picky and put herself on such a pedestal that she didn't think anyone was good enough for her. She's had plenty of men in her life but passed them over thinking she could do better. I feel bad for her but at the same time I don't because she did that to herself. Women have to understand we have a biological clock. Some of us are fortunate enough to still continue having children into our fourties but majority of us can't.
@njmfff

The issue is that perfect partners don't exist, you have to make them. This is why so many of the men and women these days don't realize, they want partner that drops out of sky and is set in stone, and they don't wanna adopt or change for their partners or vice versa, so they keep going head-on to the wall, because they are told all the time they are perfect the way they are and it's just men's fault. I am blessed with perfect partner, but it's not because she dropped out of sky, it's because she was willing to adopt to me, so naturally I wanted to adopt and cater to her needs.

@@KrombopulosMichael27 I agree with you. She is an elite athlete and her 20' s she would have to be extremely focused on her craft/career in order to succeed in it. However, she still represents the thr dilemma of the average modern woman more closely than you are giving credit. Many women CHOOSE to focus on their Careers (and many party and have a hoe phase during this time as well. Unlike Lolo who is a virgin) during their prime(mid 20's) rather than focus on finding a husband and starting a family. Many of Those same modern women who hit 40 and are successful in their career can not find a husband or waited to have children and now cannot. The same as Lolo, those women made a CHOICE to choose career over family and now they are dealing with the consequences of that choice. Feminism tells modern women that they can have it all, but for the majority that simply is not true. Life is about trade offs and compromises. Everything of value has a cost and evolves some level of sacrifice. Masculine men know this, and modern women are starting to realize this but for some it's too late.

I'm pretty sure I heard Lolo Jones right when she said, "I waited for my husband for so many years"; what I gathered from her statement is that she felt she was ENTITLED to a good man that was just supposed to show up on her doorstep and she was in no shape or form required to place any effort on her part to find said man. And to be honest, Lolo certainly looks attractive, so it's hard to believe that no men have been checking for her all these years which begs the question, what's wrong with her that every man she came across thought she wasn't worth the effort of entertaining the idea of marriage?🤔 Other than there being something in particular about her that is repelling men, the only explanation I could think of is that Lolo has established such ridiculous standards for what would be her ideal man that she has shrunk her pool of men to choose from to such a small number that she is being beat by her competition (i.e. younger women)

@@BrianaIsir We are all taught about biological clocks. When the older woman are always asking about when you're going to get married or when you're going to have kids, that's their attempt to teach you about the biological clock. MANY young women, foolishly thinking they have plenty of time, write the elders off as "old fashioned" and refuse to listen to them. Then, suddenly, they find themselves 30 with career success but few, if any, prospective mates for marriage and family. Not a good place to be.

My father wasn't around. I learned everything that I needed to, just far later than I think I would have if I had a father. I learned solely by making mistakes. The problem is, that route could be very discouraging. For example, let's say I had ten losses before my first win. I learned, but I really paid for it. With God's grace, my son will never experience that. Rest in Peace Kobe Bryant. They will speak of you for 1000 years.

Honestly Lolo Jones is very attractive and everyone knows she is a virgin and was waiting for marriage, sadly I think that was her issue. The guys she would of been around and dating were likely famous or men with plenty of options. So would you wait for sexual intimacy with lolo or go with another woman where you can get the same thing from lolo + sex. Also a person as successful as here also probably wouldn’t want to settle for a guy who she felt was below her standards but accepted that she wanted to wait for sex. 🤷🏽‍♂️ idk just my thoughts.

If you ask me, Father’s Day is a measure of your means as a father. If your kids go out of their way to do something you’ve always wanted done, that is their means of reciprocating your role to them. The same is said for Mother’s Day. It is a means to one’s measure as a mother. If you’re a shitty mother, you’re not predetermined to get something. You get what you get.

The 40 year old woman who was waiting for a husband didn't realize she was at her prime in her 20's and didn't want to "settle'. Now that men in our 40's are hitting our prime in life, we want the 20 somethings, not the broken down 40 year old. Sad to say but many men are just saying the new cliche, "you didn't want us in your prime, we don't want you in your decline ". Men simply just deep down don't care about your accolades, men go by looks at first for a partner. That's when you start to build a relationship together .

Lolo is not an unattractive woman, however she wasted the best years of her life being a contrarian and rebellious. These are the results. I don’t feel bad for her AT ALL. Play with the bull - get the horns. Hopefully this is a wake up call to young women who have a disdain for men, think we’re useless and don’t believe that a family is overwhelmingly critical to woman’s overall happiness. That was POWERFUL AF what Kobe’s dad said to him...that is EXTREMELY how you ‘father’💯🔥That’s AWESOME you did Martial Arts too! I have taken multiple styles for decades! It is WONDERFUL for children and helps them get stronger both mentally and physically as well as being able to defend themselves 💯I attribute both THE LORD & my decades of martial arts for keeping me calm & collected when my ex wife decided to punch me 4 times in the temple/right eye and tried to gouge my eye out while I was driving(almost wrecked)...I would’ve probably reacted emotionally and done something I would’ve regretted to this dayIf it wasn’t for that! I wholeheartedly encourage all parents to enroll their kids into martial art but make sure THE INSTRUCTORS ARE VETTED...do BACKGROUND CHECKS...go to observe some of the classes or better yet take classes with the kids (it’s a GREAT bonding experience) because martial arts instructors are positions that attract ‘unsavory individuals’ because of the access it gives them to kids both male and female so make sure you VETT YOUR KIDS INSTRUCTORS💯It will help your kids in more ways that you could imagine! Felt like sharing a little bit with you gentlemen. Back to the topic if the video...no matter how much $ they have...the wall is UNDEFEATED AND INEVITABLE! Men age like fine wine and women...just age😁Look at Dane C....he’s about to marry a 23yr old and he is 50! how often do you hear of the opposite happening 🤔Hope you have a WONDERFULLY BLESSED rest of the week MTR along with everyone else watching 💯🙏

Hey I really appreciate your comment. My son is 6 years old and I have been wanting to get him in some kind of martial arts for the past year- mainly so that he can socialize with boys around his age, make some friends and also to hopefully teach him some self control and discipline. My son is extremely intelligent but with that comes certain struggles like socially awkward (he's getting a little bit better), trouble dealing with emotions- especially anger; following rules, dealing with authority etc... Is martial arts something you think would be helpful for him? He's become pretty violent recently (mostly aimed at me but he actually got into a fist fight with a boy on our street a few days ago) I am now worried that whatever he learns in MA he will use to fight with kids on the streets, or me and my daughter (he rarely ever tries to get violent towards his Dad, but he's not here as much as we'd like him to be) My husband (his Dad) thinks he would do better in a team-oriented sport and doesn't think martial arts is a great idea (but is still open to it- just now I am having reservations) I figured that since you found it so helpful while growing up I would ask you, an internet stranger, for any advice or input. Thank you so much if you read all of this!

Sounds like you had a spicy time back in the day, especially in the car 🤣🤣 Good thing you didn't wreck 😳 LoLo is an example of crashing into the wall big time the modern woman focusing on her career over a husband ,kids and think at 40 ok I'm ready, but it's to late. Biology is undefeated you can't stop it ladies. Date with intention ladies instead of letting Chad, Pookie and Tyrone blow your back out then complain men aren't shit, but you decided to give them your body. Something is up with Lolo and she doesn't want to settle. she is attractive and fit and still she can't find a guy? I wonder is she still is a virgin (as she claims) Pay attention ladies or this could be you the cat-dog lady 35-40 years old, miserable, drinking wine, watching netflix, with a vibrator dying alone. Look at all the money and injections she has to go through just to even try to have a kid with no guarantee at all when all of this could of been prevented with a better chance even 10-15 years earlier in her prime. When is the cycle going to end?

@@stephaniepikunas6373 I think Martial Arts would be ABSOLUTELY PERFECT FOR YOUR SON💯Surprisingly...One of the fundamental lesson that Martial Arts teaches is to not have use it and avoid it if you can(This is where vetting the instructor come is because not all teachers are the same. Just sitting in on a class can show you a lot about how the instructor is with kids & his philosophy). Even if a kid is unruly or even violent Martial art’s doesn’t ‘bring it out’ like one would think but instead it redirects it into something positive as well as gives them a place they can release aggression. When a kid sees an instructor spare/punch bag/submit someone/break a board or a brick it makes a huge impact and inspires a kind of ‘awe/respect’ that will allow them to teach the kids instilling in them the life lessons martial arts teaches with an incentive of being able to reach the instructors level & do all those things one day too(Again..vetting the instructor is SOO IMPORTANT because that ‘awe/respect’ can be used to take advantage of them so vetting is crucial..do a background check online that you pay for because that $10/$20/$30 is nothing when it comes to your kids safety). What I would start him out with is in a Brazilian Jujitsu class if theres a ‘Gracie Academy’ in your area check them out because they are under the Gracie name and they vett their instructors (always do you own background checks regardless) because they represent the Gracie name which is one of the best in the world and they don’t want anything tarnishing their solid reputation. Brazilian Jujitsu is EXTREMELY useful in a rough situation and there less of a chance the other person is going to be seriously injured to the point of a lawsuit like one could get if you kick/elbow/punch someone in the face. It is hands on so you are on the mat with others physically interacting which builds confidence and helps develop social skills as well. It is an EXCELLENT style for a kid and is a SOLID FOUNDATION to build upon if he wanted to take different styles later. I am a believer in kids benefiting GREATLY from Martial arts not only from personal experience but I have personally seen it happen & the benefit for kids seems is greater than adults IMO. I also played sports...Baseball, Basketball, Football and I think Martial arts gave me the confidence I needed to tackle(pun intended) those sports without being intimidated because I knew how to handle myself and react under pressure(which has helped me greatly in life ESPECIALLY in the situation from my comment). Team sports are EXCELLENT when it comes to developing social skills too it is just important to have him pick what he wants to play...usually the father playing with a kid(catch/hitting the ball/throwing football/soccer ball/ect can help determine which one or ones/multiple he wants to do. Forcing a kid to do something can some times work but not as much as if he genuinely want to. That’s why going with them to that first martial arts class or having his sister, dad, mom take it with him can help them get over the fear of something new and the intimidation that comes with a new martial arts class. When that initial fear is gone they have a blast. It has helped me in all aspects of my life...even doing comedy shows(did comedy’s for several years) and getting on stage to do a set my heart rate barely increase because of the training. I am passionate about this topic hence the lengthy response😁Hope this helps you and your husband decide what to do. I think it would benefit him greatly and maybe even you two/take class with him! I pray you and your family have a blessed one and that you are able to make the best decision for him Stephanie💯🙏Have a good one...
