Mmmm she fits in really good with the song. It was probably hard to change the tenses to “you” instead of “I” but I did like how she gave a lot of power in the song which is needed. AND YES I ACTUALLY KNOW THE SONG SURPRISINGLY.

I actually love the lyric change. Cause it really speaks to what "DON'T FORGET ME" was about on Smash. Someone is promising Marilyn that they won't forget her, and that's all the legacy that she wanted.

You know, this song works better from a different characters pov. Is it a good song? No, it's not bad though. I think this could be a good musical (Bombshell) and I know it's just supposed to be from a TV show but it's honestly wasted potential.
