That's a horrible spot that playing in, the sound ricocheted all over the place. I can't really hear the quads or bass drums in the back. All I hear is snares and cymbals.

I went to FAMU sir so I KNOW the difference in the sound... and was a student of percussion. Instructed by Dr James himself. Sooo trust me when I say THEY SOUND HORRIBLE. They can sound 100 times better.

That has never been FAMU's style. They go for smaller size and that probably allows for them to do what they do on the field more effectively. I'm not sure if the sound generated by the kind they use cuts through more effectively. I'd have to talk to a member about that.

If I wanted to see something similar, I’d watch toddlers bang on pots in their mother’s kitchen. Not a dis to HBCUs as BCU, SCU, NCA&T, NSU all actually demonstrate an ability to PLAY their instruments.
