I see where someone said the dance routine too hard for camp kids. This routine good but not as hard as it use to be. Early 2000’s camp dance routine was longer and much harder to learn. The kids will do just fine great job 100.

@@TheTeamIsSHaRP they’ve tried to increase the difficulty level bit by bit each year (I learned that from being a counselor one summer). Even with music to give the kids a challenge.

Man from the size of the campers this year I'm more than sure that out of the 600 campers, def at least 100 will be incoming freshman easy! Those campers take up the full band room with no percussion in the band room so I'm sure we back to our old numbers this year

Does famu not know they in the swac all these super difficult dance routines, why I will be honest are exciting. But let's be real they know this is to high of a level for high school kids. Those kid will not be able to play and dance at the sametime with that difficulty of dance routine. I will be real tho this was exciting.

You wanna put money on it ? These kids are mainly from Florida and do these routines often. FAMU will never dumb down it’s style to fit the SWAC ……. Check back in on Saturday and see 🐍🐍

FAMU camp was NEVER made easier for the kids. It’s not as hard as it would be coming up in the band but it’s not easy. Let the kids get their monies worth. Why dumb down an experience? We’ve done this for decades and yes they get it within a week! Go back and watch other band camp routines from the first day. You’re making a ceiling for kids before they can even try smh.
