Ahh, I can feel my childhood. Literally this was it. My dog would be under the covers with me and we’d take naps while listening to the rain and feeling the cold air from the fan blow on us in 80 degree weather. It was surreal now that I look back. When I was a child, whenever it rained my mum would wake my brother, sister and me up (my dad worked night),turn off all the lights and turn the sofa to face the windows. We would all sit there with hot chocolate and listen to the storm while waiting to see the lightning, we lived on a hill and could see for miles. We all grew up to absolutely love thunderstorms and do similar things with our children. I found out recently that my mum hated them and was terrified but by waking us up and pretending she loved them she found she could cope.

Mike Lee sorry to disagree. I lived in Florida for 25 years...sick more often there than when I lived in Michigan for 10 years. In fact I never recall getting in Michigan. Worked as a roofer throughout the whole year. I am not an expert on bacteria or germs but I am only speaking from personal experience. I have the outside cold. Air being pumped in with my whole house fan...never have been sick in any way. For me personally I have always used a fan my whole life. If i get a cold, it isn't from a fan but from a carrier at work...
