@@LordBelakor It's funny if you ever took philosophy (the Nietzsche references in particular) , or watched 1920s-1930s German film, or studied German history in the last few decades before the fall of the Berlin wall, and then took that all in the context of it being how Conan's writers chose to respond to 10-13 year old girls who have not (hopefully) been exposed to those subjects yet. I can respect however, that it is not a joke that would appeal to everyone.

Actually, Conan would still be right despite the video. This episode was August 2012. The movie was announced by DreamWorks in July 2012. Andy, being involved with the franchise and movie, would know about it. In turn, Conan would probably also at least know of its existence.

Penguins Of Madagascar was announced a few months before this bit. So there must have been people at Conan that knew this when they reviewed the audience video and afterwards took contact with Dreamworks. Which is why the short film is so good. Its made by the Dreamworks guys, maybe even using the German voice actors for the release of the former film.
