The show has been nominated for an Emmy, NAACP Image Award, People's Choice Award and an ADG for Excellence in Production Design. Lastly, was featured in major magazines like Time and The New York Times. This show was a hit out of the gates.

@@paperinik69 hello yes my comment might sound stupid to the people that were old enough to watch it while the show ran and was producing episodes on air in the early 2000’s however I was not, the most that I got to watch of king of queens was maybe one or two episodes after school back in 2015, however the reason why I say it is underrated is because with my generation all u hear about is Friends, The Office, Seinfeld, and Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I never hear anyone my age (23) talking about King of Queens, hence why I say it is underrated, I’m sorry if I offended u and the other comments for my generational opinion, regardless at the end of the day I am a fan of the show, and have had serval of the hardest laughs while watching tv while watching the show.
