Both cabin and under hood air filters changed, blower motor kicking hard.... But it won't come out any vents. No matter what setting .. any ideas where to try now? Have heat and cool air. Just seems to be blocked somewhere

2014 Nissan Altima. A/C and heat blow intermittently. Changed cabin filter. Can hear fan blowing on a/c or heat and any setting defrost, floor, front vent. Air will blow then stop but can still hear the fan. Keep driving and it will come back on stops blowing then starts again. Sometimes it will last 20 minutes between coming out of the vents and stopping again. Any ideas?

@@oger7961 expansion valve. Shop we took it took knew immediately what it was when I told him it doesn't do it when just the heat is on. He asked if it did it when I turn defrost on. Yes. For some reason your AC compressor comes on when using the defrost. This expansion value was causing the evaporator to freeze up blocking airflow. Was under $200 to fix.

More than likely you’re gonna find the same situation that I found in this video portions of the gears have came out because the linkage breaks underneath the dash. I’ve got a 2008 Jeep liberty that has the same problem so I’m gonna disassemble it and figure out a solution to repair it hopefully making a solution that’s able to be repaired without disassembling the dash even though I’m going to in the video. On my 2012 GMC Acadia the air vents in the front console work great in every way, however the 4 rear roof vent for the 2nd and 3rd rows only faintly blow air or not at all. The rear blowing motor was just fixed but we are at a lose on what could be preventing the air from blowing out. Any suggestions?

I have an 2001 Chevy express blower motor works fine I replaced the blower resistor. I’m pretty sure blend door is working but vents (upper & floor) only blow very very low no matter the fan speed selection. I’m 99% it doesn’t have a cabin filter. Any ideas ?

It has a vacuum leak. So it’s only pull in the door so far that does not have a window or door actuators that are electronic there ran off the vacuum because it’s a van I would imagine the last time somebody took off the dog box they probably didn’t hook the vacuum line up . Of course this is just a guess but a very educated one from past experience

Turn your fan on and if you can remember where the sound normally comes from take your hand and hit around that area if the fan comes on then you need a new blower motor.

Hi, I need help, I have a dual air system. The ac only blows air on both sides when I press the “max” button. When I turn the blow knob afterwords manually to lower settings it works blowing cold air perfectly. The issue here, if I turned the blower knob “whether hot or cold” to any setting low, mediocre or high, it doesn’t blow any air on the driver side. I looked everywhere and no one is giving me an answer. I would appreciate a response. Thank you!

I have a 2001 dodge dakota and the ac don't blow, but when I drive you can feel air coming out but it don't blow hard enough to feel it. When I checked the fuse it's showing the blower fuse is missing could that be the problem?

That’s why it doesn’t blow air out of the vents with the fuse missing. Would be my guess but more than likely somebody removed it for a reason.

Just learned the hard way if you run the fan on high through the car wash it sucks humidity dampness into air filter and materials in air filter expand turn it blue and plug the air flow even after it's dried out it is ruined. Brand new air filters are normally white. probably that's why they turn blue when that stuff expands and filter is ruined. $20 AutoZone. I have 2008 Toyota Camry maybe more prone than other vehicles. Around the fan on high in my 2019 Honda Odyssey and that does not happen.

depends what kind of car but could be the blend door actuators there are usually 2 on each side and control different things one is vent one is recirculation etc..

I have a 1989 Dodge D250 Cummins diesel with AC... The wiring was burnt out - The only wiring left is the Heat / Ac - But I can't get it working. I guess I'll have to scrap it and figure out a new way to wire it. I have an old lever cable to control the vents - and a switch to control the heater motor - I wanted to use the original controls - But ? Then i have to figure out how to get the AC working (I spent $800 on the AC just before it caught fire.

More than likely she has a bad blower motor resistor and possibly a bad blower motor as well hit the bottom of the Motor and if it comes on the motor is bad if it does not come on replace the blower motor resistor
