I personal didn´t like Ep. VII because it was basically a remake or reboot of A new Hope. Everything is just bigger (death star, Hosnian Sytem instead of Alderaan) and went through a political correctness update.. It did´t braught anything new to the table and missed the detailed approach of a functioning realistic (in its own way) universe, the other movies seem to have for me (lack of worl building). The rise of the "new order" also reletavized all the struggle the main characters of the original trilogy went through and theire final victory.
