@@TheRealXoph Yep, you're right, thank you for that correction. He was fired 77 days after being appointed and I think the '7' stuck in my head, but he did indeed only manage 4 PL games. He had a victory in the Carabao Cup, but Palace's form in the PL was so dismal and they never scored a goal in those first 4 matches. Anyway, yes, Frank could be the first Premier League Bond.

I actually feel sorry for Chelsea fans. I am a United fan who had to suffer through watching us get 57 points last season. Chelsea, stranded on 39 points are making that United side look like Brazil 1970!

Yep. As a fellow Man Utd fan I recall wondering how the hell they finished 6th and not 15th in the league last season, as the performances were beyond dismal. A bit similar to Spurs this season...On the merits of performances, it boggles the mind that Spurs had been - and still are - in top 4 contention (only mathematically, but still). Chelsea may yet drop a few places and it'll be deserved but Spurs fans are the luckier ones to still be in the top half of the table.

Yep. There are merits to some of his opinions (which one should acknowledge if one can look beyond his personality) but the way he goes about delivering those opinions with that smarmy smug demeanour... He just makes it so hard to take to him. Besides, in between the bits of truth, he spouts a hell of a lot of BS too. And that whole "my standards are higher than everyone else's" shtick of his - when all he does is sit on his butt all day - is nothing but nauseating.
