I read the novel and it’s very exciting. Also in the novel the last battle was between the emperor and Wu Zu . Fan Xian didn’t die he went back to his grandma’s town with wife and children to retire. I’m not giving the spoilers as to who died. In this last battle between the emperor and WU Zu. I will definitely wait if the ending is the same as the novel

Drama has Sci-Fi elements. It is not cyclops. Wu Zhu supposedly is a robot with laser eyes that can kill. But that was not exposed until the very end.
