I’m a regular surfer and I admit I used to be a hater until I tried it I have a lot of respect for the work going into being a good level sup- surfer, obviously bring the etiquette, But to be real honest traditional and short borders us all need to work on that too

Thanks for your comment mate , respect for mentioning the etiquette , i agree 100% . There is a huge difference between SUP´s surfers that have , or not , ridden before a short board , or those whom lived the surfing golden era , when no "surf schools" existed vs knowadays crowded peaks with no rules I was a shortboarder my whole life , until i tried the SUP , up from that day , more than 3 years ago , i had never more used the shortboard , no matter how waves were that day or where i was traveling . Always the SUP The SUP session will allow you to catch x4 waves ( not bothering or stealing other surfers waves , of course ) . You have terrific strenght with the paddle when it comes to seeing the set coming and positioning yourself perfectly in the line up , or even getting a wave that is coming 100m far from any of your sides , if you paddle hard , you will reach to it As for maneuver , a good SUP , for example the latest Fanatic pro waves , wouldnt lack anything and can surf all kind of waves , all just depending on the level of the rider . Those are boards for your entire life , or at least for me , because as much as i can improve my surfing , i will never get to the point to totally squeeze its potential ( Like any average Joe won´t of a super sport motorbike , for example ) Aside than above , if you start suping , which i extremely recommend , a whole new world will open to you . You can expect to revive the feeling of when surfing your very first wave , without any preassure , fully enjoying , just riding the wave wall Aloha !

ça fait du bien de voir des vidéos comme celle là. A cause du confinement on ne peux pas aller faire du paddle sur nos plages d'Atlantique Es bueno ver vídeos como este. Debido a la contención, no podemos hacer paddle boarding en nuestras playas del Atlántico

Fab , i am deeply sorry to hear that men , the world knowadays is a complete nonsense ,and we , the people that love our freedom , cant stand with it . I wish you can be back into the sea soonest possible . Last year (2020) they f*cked us also and wasnt able to surf from March to July . I should had been to Peru - Chicama from 10-29April last year ,and here i still waiting after losing hundreds of euros of that trip , that never happened.

@@elpicorecords Let us hope that this year will be the right one and that 2020 will be a bad memory. Since May 3rd, we have a little more freedom, I'm going to take advantage of it to go surfing with my paddle. Good luck for Chicama.

hola, muy bueno el video! me gustaria saber si, se puede llevar una tabla de alrededor de 100L si yo peso unos 82kg mas 3 o 4 del neopreno mojado. saludos !

Hola Carles , un placer amigo ! Dependerá de tu experiencia previa . Si has surfeado varios años con una tabla corta , lo único que vas a tener que aprender es remada , estabilidad y entrada en la ola , luego ya aplicas tu técnica del surf . Tengo amigos de tu peso ( que antes también montaban en tabla corta ) que ven su límite en 120 litros , bajar de eso es un martirio ya que no es lo mismo estar con los pies sobre la tabla , permitiéndote estar horas en el agua , que la tabla hundida y el agua por tus rodillas ,cansándote rápidamente , sabiendo que ni el 10% del tiempo en el agua estamos surfeando , sino posicionandonos y seleccionando olas . Mi consejo es que si has surfeado antes , te pilles uno de 120/140 litros ( da igual el largo en pulgadas , el ancho si es importante , cuanto más ancho mas estable , pero más dificil girarlo ) , y si no has surfeado antes y quieres empezar con el SUP , uno tipo Allround de 150/200 litros . Como referencia yo peso 63 kg y con el de 104 litros voy como con las chanclas de casa , tengo otro , un 92 litros , que va mejor en la ola , pero es peor en todo lo demás ( remada , entrada en la ola , no te perdona errores , etc.. ) , si tuviera que elegir me quedo con la de 104 por la cantidad de olas que cojo en una sesión . Siempre está la duda esa de : bueno voy a coger la cortita , bueno en realidad no , mejor cojo la 104 litros que se que el baño va a ser buenísimo y así no arriesgo . Un abrazo y pal agua !

172cm tall and 64kg . She feels like the home sandals with that ratio. If you want a long and guaranteed good surf session , shes my choice

Sorry for that mate . I only become to realise it after some time , definetly i should had choose wisely , as surprisingly is my most watched video. It did not and won´t happen in any future videos up from this one . All the best
