I 100% agree with your comments. There are no weak figures in Masterverse so far and many of these figures easily beat the classics versions. I have Skelegod, Andra and Skeletech as my bottom mainly because there is no nostalgia factor on them, but hat doesn’t mean they are bad figures, in fact they are awesome looking too. Great video, brother.

Great video! The only figure I could disagree with was Jutsu being so low. I thought the extra samurai skirting piece and oni mouth mask were a great add for him. Can just pretend he's still a villain 😉

I started collecting some figures every now and then I got some of the origins line but I don't like how they barely differentiate one from another. But man when I saw that Sprout snout masterverse it made me fall in love again with this line. 2 Bad is really a nice piece and I completely agree with Man E Faces missing paint on the top but man what a nice figure he turned out to be probably my fav. Do you think I should acquire a Dark Lyn for about 25 bucks? And big SO from Mexico 😁

Definitely hard to argue with that #1 pick. That Two Bad is incredible. I'm a cartoon filmation collector and the one about to be released tomorrow really does look like a cartoon compared to that Masterverse Two Bad. Lol

My Top (3) Masterverse He-Man figures: Thunderpunch, Viking, and the very first He-Man w/Viking's alternate head. So you have one Good, regular He-Man representation, with two of his coolest varients released in this line. I'd be tempted to use the non-bearded, "Battle Armor" He-Man instead of the first version but, i'd mainly be looking to use the figure as the standard He-Man in my personal Top-3. So his Armor would go unused and be a waste.

Thanks for an entertaining video. It's much appreciated. Having said that, I completely disagree with a lot of your choices (Ram Man is one of the worst Masterverse figures, IMHO and Whiplash looks like a complete dumpster fire to me), but I agree wholeheartedly with you about Thunder Punch Herman's head. I really don't understand the hate for it at all. It's a solid sculpt. But hey, the world would be a super boring if we all agreed on everything!

Well, this was a big one to digest! But hey, kudos for the effort! 👌 Time to get this topic started, shall we? 😉The lowest ranked Motu Revelation Mer-Man had me hesitating for a very long time before I finally gave him a chance to shine in a post-apocalyptic context. I mean, the scars, etc... This one-eyed veteran doesn't even need armor to protect himself as such an experienced warrior. How about that? Jitsu, however, and this is where I totally agree with you, the revision of his backstory, especially to make him a good warrior, definitely took away some of his natural charisma. His metal gauntlet isn't even big enough, which is the biggest bummer because that was the gimmick that always made him stand out. 😑 I'm glad you had the chance to grab this wonderful piece that is Motherboard. After experiencing horrible delays before this Dark-Lyn finally left their warehouse last year, I was really reluctant to take this opportunity. I opted for Vykron instead, only to discover that they are now much better at international shipping. Well, maybe this fall if she stays there long enough, but I digress, sorry (lol).

Great video and I appreciate all the effort that went into it. I personally would've put Horde Skeletor and New Eternia Skeletor much higher and probably would've put Skelegod dead last (I hate the shoulder pad design). It is a shame to see Moss Man languishing at Ollie's. His unique sculpt was done by the Four Horsemen, making him the only Masterverse figure done by the team behind 200x and Classics.

Every He-Man head is shit. Some have thin, more realistic, looking strands of hair while others have a more chunky, almost 'anime' look to the hair. Most of the He-Man faces have a ridiculous looking grin . Side by side they all look like completely different characters. I understand each sub-line having a slightly different style but each He-Man has a different style regarding the head. Thunder punch He-Man looks good but something is off. The 40th anniversary He-Man head was going the right direction but once again...something is very off with it. I bought Battle Cat and couldn't get any He-Man figure to actually sit on it. The rubber underwear/ loincloth on the figures combined with saddle design made it impossible. It's as though they were designed by two different people without any cross referencing. I was able to fake it but the figures will hover over the saddle and the legs look pretty silly. My Slush Head had a claw break while removing it from the box. I was most displeased with the choice of plastic used for his mechanical appendages. Wow didn't intend on typing out souch...did anyone actually read this whole comment?

Initially, I wasn't planning on collecting Masterverse at all, but now I have almost all of them except for the SDCC exclusive Scareglow and the two 40th anniversary figures, which I'll get eventually. The last ones I got just last week were the two CGI figures, when they were deeply discounted. I was initially a bit sceptical about those two, but really liked them, once I finally got them. I agree with most of your rankings with some exceptions. I'm not a huge fan of the Masterverse Scareglow. I've never been a huge Scareglow fan anyway (sacrilege, I know) and while the Scareglow head sculpt is great, it doesn't do a great job glowing, which is what Scareglow is supposed to do, so he lands near the bottom of my list. And while the body, armour and accessories of Thunderpunch He-Man are great, I really don't like the Faker headsculpt here. IMO, he looks like Angela Merkel cosplaying He-Man, which is just weird. I'd also rank the first edition of Hordak quite a bit further down the list than you did, because while the body and details are great, the headsculpt just doesn't work for me. Plus, they could have given us Imp as an accessory, since the Classics Imp is so expensive. Meanwhile, I really love the Masterverse Catra, but then I'm probably a bigger Princess of Power fan than you (and I hope we get more Princess of Power characters in Masterverse) and Catra IMO really blows her Classics counterpart out of the water. Meanwhile, I'm happy to see Prince Adam ranked so highly, because not only do we finally get a Prince Adam who's not just a He-Man reprint, but he also captures the look of the cartoon perfectly. Also glad to see Sorceress Lyn and Dark-Lyn ranked so highly, because they are awesome. And that Deluxe Revelation Duncan, who was almost impossible to get in Europe due to bloody Target, is just an amazing figure. I also very much agree with ranking Snout Spout and Two-Bad, two characters I never cared for all that much, near the top.

Its funny when people are proud of buying each s*ht (and mixing everything together)! For me the "Masterverse Line" starts with Movie Skeletor, Movie Evil-lyn, Movie Beastman... all others are trash and look nothing like the Kevin Smith-Cartoon or anything "Canon". The Motu-Classics did a much better job - Period. The proportions of the Figures are all off - oversized diapers and no big breast + too long feet.
