I'm not a concert person at all, large numbers of people make me uncomfortable. I love Twice, though, and decided to go to this Fort Worth concert for the experience (I live in Dallas, about 45 minutes away). I went by myself cause I don't have any friends who know Twice or even enjoy K-pop. I felt like a fish out of water. It was a 3-hour concert (which blew my mind), and I was sooooo out of my element. I felt more like an observer, like a parent that was only in attendance because their child wanted to go. I was having a hard time accepting the fact that I was there because I wanted to be. I was there because Twice almost feel like my family for some reason I can't explain. I'm a 24-year-old guy and the majority of what I listen to is metal nowadays. I feel really soft sometimes, listening to anything other than that. However, Twice, along with a number of other K-pop groups, found their way into my heart back in like 2018, I think. I am still learning to accept that I don't have to listen to certain music to be cool. It's ok that I like what I like. I guess ego gets in the way a lot. Despite not being super comfortable at the concert, the next couple days, I was in what some people call post-concert depression (PCD). I felt like I hadn't enjoyed the experience to the fullest extent, and I wanted to go back and do it again and again. Reflecting on it in my memory, everything was so bright, and calm, and I wasn't uncomfortable, but was enjoying myself. I guess that's the beauty of hindsight. It can offer a different perspective on things. I could enjoy the memory of the concert from the safety of a time outside of that experience where I wasn't standing awkwardly in a room full of people. It helped that I took a few videos to help me remember the night. I still miss that concert (residual PCD, perhaps), and I may go to another one at some point. Sorry for writing so much. I like writing, and I haven't expressed these thoughts to too many people, so if you read this, you're a champ! God bless all of you Onces!

I know this is a year old comment, but I’m so glad you were willing to experience a twice concert! I went to the atlanta show for the first time this year and there was huge crowds of people of all ages and genders, and with concerts it’s definitely nerve-racking especially in large attendances like that. kpop concerts are so unique and I wish you can find communities online that share similar interests in twice and other groups. I hope one day you get to see the girls again and enjoy being there even if you feel that people are perceiving you because in reality, they’re not. onces are usually all very considerate to one another and I’ve seen lots of guys who go to these in the end!:)
